The room was generally clean but it wasn’t “corner clean”. Some mold spots in areas of the shower and adjustable shower head wouldn’t stay where positioned (loose screw) There were no tissues in the wall dispenser and plunger sitting in the corner wasn’t cleaned after last use. The door safety latch screws were backed out so it flopped around. I tightened them most of the way by hand which helped a lot. It wasn’t a bad experience but needs more attention to details. Breakfast was just warm but tasty. The whole place was one step away from self service. I would probably spend a few extra bucks to stay at one of the nearby competitors.

We rolled in late & were greeted with a smile. She was very nice & told us about the breakfast in the morning. We slept in & it! Water pressure was low in the sink but everything else was decent. They are working on renovations now.

Will not stay there again. Our room was not ready when we arrived an hour after check-in. The only time we saw anyone at the desk was when we checked in. Breakfast was not good. Our room was clean, but not enough lighting. Halls and elevator were not vacuumed while we were there. The same Cheerios were by the elevator all 3 days.

Exterior renovations had all the windows covered blocking any view to the outside. I felt it was overpriced for a Monday night in Fort Dodge, Ia…but I booked it so that’s on me I guess.

Stayed at this location before about 7 years ago. It has NOT been kept up. It appeared lots of things were “under maintenance ” but we were bummed that the hot tub was drained and taped off. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the room was very humid even with AC running. We got down to breakfast buffet at 8:30 and eggs were gone with not much for options.

We did not stay. When we arrived we were informed the pool and hot tu was closed. There was water in both. When we did get to the room the phone didn’t work. We asked for a refund and we were told Expedia would give us a full refund, but would not give us a refund receipt. The motel was not as advertised.
