"Older building, outdated bathrooms, old bedding. Great location but in need of some TLC. Another guest was complaining about the cleanliness of his room when we were checking in, our room was ok. Sand on the floor, bathroom smelled a little like urine and the whole floor needed a good scrubbing. Also the ice machine on property there is a charge. "

"It is an old mansion that gives you a sense of old style living. Close to the center of town makes it walkable."

"Really great find! Definitely not the normal hotel feel here. Quiet and small as far as the property goes but spacious rooms and plenty of parking. Very nice people that are eager to make it an enjoyable stay. Booking it again later this year! "

"Despite the crazy wind all week we enjoyed our first trip to SGI. The cottages are in a great location. We loved staying there. The only negatives were that the shared wall is very thin and we could hear conversations through the wall. We had 2 nights where my daughter couldn’t sleep because there were 2 little kids next door screaming and banging around all night. The cottage could use some fixing up a little too. There is space around the doors and our first night there someone was using the grill and the smoke was blowing right into the bedroom under the door. We still enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again one day. "

"Great location! The condo is very spacious and had many nice amenities (cookware, etc) in the kitchen if you plan on making a meal. King bed is VERY comfortable! Ruth is super helpful with island recommendations for activities and dining. Great communication and flexibility with our request for an extra night! Thank you, Ruth."
