Beachfront | Balcony + Pool | 6 adults + kids

This accommodation can host up to 8 guests, with a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children under 14.
Fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and small appliances. You can make your own meals here.
In the dining room we have a table and chairs to eat with the family, and in the living room a sofa bed y TV with cable.
In the master bedroom there are two queen size beds and storage space.
Full en-suite bathroom.
In the second bedroom there are two full size beds.
Second full bathroom.
Air conditioning that you can regulate.
Beach chairs, umbrella, beach and pool towels.
Linen (sheets and towels) and coats for beds available.
For the little ones we have a high chair and a travel cot.
If you need anything else, just ask our host, who will be available throughout your stay.

Amazing stay

We stayed here for 4 days and the location was amazing. The amenities were great. They have a beach right across the pool, which was beautiful. It’s close to everything you can think of.

Great Location, Great Service

We had the best time on our trip! This property was perfect for our family trip and Pablo was great to work with!! Great location, convenient to airport, beaches and the Hollywood Board walk. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again!!

Great Apartment, Beautiful Beaches

This was our first visit to southeast Florida. PROs: The beach is beautiful! The water is fantastic. The apartment itself was great. Good mattresses, 2 bedrooms each with bathroom. I worked remotely while hubbie and kids were at beach. Good internet. Very spacious and clean. Carlos and Pablo were very responsive. There is a walmart and some restaurants you can walk to. We had a great dinner at Padrinos, a Cuban restaurant Pablo recommended. CONS: This VRBO is a condominium building that has more VRBO or visitors than residents at this time. It was not designed for this much foot traffic. The elevators are a problem but this apartment was on the 3rd floor so we took stairs - not really an issue. Check-in is painful but Pablo walked us through it. There are some restaurants in walking distance but way more if you go up A1A to the boardwalk area. Traffic is loud but I expect that is true in this entire area.

Ehhhh, not again

Truthfully, the entire experience was quite disappointing. We were not informed of where and when to get fobs and parking pass till after the office closed so we were pretty much stranded the first evening with no access if we left. There is no playing music by the pool, even at a low comfortable level, no balls may be thrown around or in the pool. The room itself was fine and sufficient, very outdated, honestly the only thing enjoyable about the room was the beds. Be ready to search for an outlet that works or your plug will not fall out of if you sneeze nearby. For location it was good, close to lots of other things to do as well. Next time we will likely find a more kid friendly place

Nice place

The property was nice. A little older and needed some plumbing work while we were there. I expect all is resolved now. Kitchen was well appointed. Needed a hot pot holder so Pablo dropped one by right away. Beds were comfortable. Noise level was fine except for NYE but that is also to be expected. Check in was a little tedious but once that was out of the way everything worked well. Beach was very crowded during the Holiday break but afterwards was quite manageable. Didn’t use the pool but it looked inviting if not very crowded. We used the stairs everyday so any issue with the elevators was avoided. Really nice restaurant downstairs. They were a life saver on Dec 25th. Great food. Easy access to Publix grocery and many restaurants on Hallandale Beach Blvd. Lifeguard was very helpful. Was a fun time!!!

Well maintained condo, clean. Fridge however needs an upgrade-not as clean & rust in freezer. Condo as pictured- no surprises except fridge. Pool & beach area - SPOT ON!

Extreme disappointment

Pablo was responsive and quick to handle a couple of problems for me. I had no issues with him. The Tides itself is an old building without some amenities of other high rise in the area. I would have been ok with that. The unit we rented is very outdated and could use some renovations for the money they charge. It looks nice because the furniture is ok but the tile in the bathrooms and the woodwork is old and looks dirty. The fake wood on the bathroom vanity is peeling off. The refrigerator freezer shelves are rusted. There’s an area in the kitchen above the stove which looks like there was a cabinet but there’s no doors on it and the electrical outlet is exposed. The plant put in there to hide it only drew my attention to it. The owners need to do some updating in my opinion. The unit overlooks the front lobby area which I was aware of but the street noise is extremely loud and constant. The area is very busy with next to nothing within walking distance so you need a rental care or expensive Uber costs. I would not choose the Tides for my vacation rental and would not return to this area of Hollywood Beach.

Pablo was wonderful to work with. The apartment was nice and clean. I would suggest a bigger coffee pot as well as wash cloths and hand towels. The property would be updated a little inside.

We Love The Tides

We have been staying at the Tides for 7 years now (minus 2020). We really do appreciate the security protocols, the check-in process and definitely the location. This year we took a side trip to Key West. Other years our day trips have been to Marco Island, Miami, Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, the Everglades, the Florida panthers hockey games, and on. We love our beach/pool days when we can just relax. We cooked dinner in one night and we eat all of our breakfast and lunches in. There is a Walmart, Target, and Publix nearby. This apartment was exact what we needed with our twin 17-yr old boys. They had their own shower! and we had ours. We had a city view which was nice. Pablo was so easy to contact and organize our checkin process. The Tides is an older residence and that is what we like about it. It is not a high rise(only 15 stories) and we took the stairs most days. There is also a fitness center on site which we used daily. Thank you for sharing your apartment with us!

Anothor great stay at the Tides

Its our 4th time at the Tides building stay and we love it. Pros: -3rd floor -location of apartment (near all major shopping, restaurants...) -on the beach -apartment has all basic stuff for a stay (soaps, toilet paper, beach chairs, cooler, umbrellas, toys...) -unbelievable communication with Pablo. He is the most helpful during check-in, check-out process, was very prompt when we had a key problem Cons: -apartment is a little bit old and need some touch ups, for example, painting. Please, invest into the shower head, they are terrible. -mattresses are not so comfortable, but i've survived. Overall, great stay! Gracias Pablo!

The property is as advertised. Clean, right on the beach, nice pool and family friendly. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions. Would recommend this property for anyone with a couple of kids.

Tides at Hollywood, FL

Old facility that could use many up-grades. Bathrooms were as clean as old facilities could be be. Pablo responded quickly to our request to have bathroom tile scrubbed. Nothing plush but totally acceptable. Pool and beach areas were very nice without any attentive umbrella/beach chair service; you paid for your chair, sat down and that was it. Surrounding area is quite depressed so be prepared to drive at least 30-45 minutes to anything upscale. Goldstein Park is seedy, seedy, seedy! A trip to Hard Rock Casino is totally worth the drive. A return visit to the same facility is not on my agenda.
