"From the moment we arrived until we left everything was perfect. Front desk was welcoming and explained everything we needed to know. The lounge and 3 restaurants were clean, wait staff friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean and plenty of parking. Can’t wait to book it again!"

"Hotel was very nice and clean, room was clean. Very convenient having a fridge and microwave in the room. Views were fantastic. Pool was clean, bar was great and had good food too. A couple downsides, I got a text message before the stay asking if I wanted to “pay a discounted rate for parking” I selected yes and still got charged for the full amount after we left the hotel at the end of our stay. The walls are so thin we could hear every single conversation and noise that either of our neighbors made on each side of us. The newly remodeled bathroom looked great but the faucet for the sink was literally almost unusable, it was the wrong size and you couldn’t hardly wash your hands without running your fists into the back of the sink. The shower also leaked all over the bathroom floor through the shower doors. The last thing was I got a $6 charge a couple days after we left for “2 bottles of water” in the room. We never touched these $3 bottles of water, but got charged anyway. We reached out and the hotel never replied. Would love for someone to contact me about these charges and the problems we had with the hotel but it seems like they don’t care."

"Unfortunately we had a very hard time with even checking in to this place. Expedia had to save the day, and it was on Mother’s Day weekend. I will never be back! We come to Florida quite a bit, but we will never go back to this place. Staff are rude and manager is the worst. Rooms were hott and ac barely worked."

"I don’t often leave reviews unless I believe it is warranted. I did like that there was breakfast but that was also kind of a joke because nothing was refilled if something ran out. I didn’t like how none of the staff actually spoke to each other. They often didn’t seem like they knew what as going on. On the 3rd night they shut off the hot water to the entire building and didn’t tell anyone unless they asked. Another thing that really irritated me was It was supposedly put in the notes that I had a service dog with me but was constantly asked if it was a pet or service dog even though he was wearing his service vest with his info on it. Come check out time I had a rather large pet fee that I shouldn’t have been charged because the service animal was never added to the pet section. House keeping never came to our room once and when needed anything replaced we had to do it ourselves. We were there for a total of 9 days for my graduation. If I could have been refunded, I would have checked out and went to a different hotel. All in all, I won’t be booking with TRU again unless it is a last resort. Who knows if this review will actually see the light of day…one could only hope…"
