Well priced and extremely helpful staff. Room was clean, quiet and AC was FREEZING (which is what I like). I mean it’s not the four seasons but perfectly adequate for a place to sleep while you’re on the road.

We had often joked about the Huggy Bear Motel on trips to and from Indianapolis in the past. Shockingly, we actually stayed there recently when we moved our son into a local university...and it was great. It's a simple roadside motel that is in remarkably good shape. We stayed two nights and had no problems whatsoever. The AC kept us cool on hot nights; the beds, though a bit soft for my taste, were comfortable. If you're looking for a safe, clean place to stay and don't mind an old-school motor lodge with just the basics, you can't do much better for the price.

The hotel is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed at. I travel frequently and have stayed at many luxury, high-end hotels that were not as clean as this one. Additionally, the gentleman who helped me at the office was extremely nice and personable, which made the experience even better. Would definitely stay here again.
