lighting in the hallways flickering. check in process was sketchy, I booked for multiple days, and didnt arrive until the second day. they first told me my check-in was invalid, and i needed to re-book. then told me "oh wait, actually we will honor your old reservation, and we're not going to refund that first day. Check in process made no sense, booked on here but couldn’t check in through the booking had to pay for 2 separate rooms, as soon as you turn the corner past the front desk numerous lights flickering above doors. Got 2 rooms one room had outdated tv with super small bathroom other room had newer tv with jets in a tub but took the knob for the control the jets, also had a weird access panel cut out held with tape. But this room had the bigger bathroom. Doors rattled excessively, one room smell old and bad other room was okay smelling. The hotel severely lacked basic maintenance. Overall with the comparison I had for both rooms was probably a good overall general of the rest of the hotel. Extremely outdated, check in process through app made difficult, could be cleaner, decoration outdated. Seemed like the owner of the hotel and his family were staying right in the rooms by the front desk. Stayed at the Hampton last time I was in the area and looks like I’ll go back. Definitely a joke.

It took 3 rooms to get it ok. The shower was broken in the first, AC not working in the second. The third room was ok, but the AC stopped working on the last night of a few day trip and when I took a look at it, there was what appeared to be spores all in the AC unit vent.

I read so many reviews saying this place was nice. It is clean, but that’s it. Our TV remote did not work - nor did the 2 replacements. The ice machine was broken. There was no freezer section in our fridge. The shower curtain rod was installed at an angle so the curtain did not stay closed. Completely regret staying and would have changed our hotel if I hadn’t prepaid. Nice people, but not a great place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel and discovered what clearly appeared to be mold in the room, including visible dark spots near the vents and a strong, musty odor. I raised the issue with the general manager, who dismissed it by claiming it was “just dust.” No proper inspection or resolution was offered, and I was not provided a refund or alternative room. This experience was extremely disappointing and concerning for my health. I expected better accountability and cleanliness from a hotel that represents the Choice Hotels brand. I do not recommend staying here until serious improvements are made.

Main thing was the SURPRISE $75 deposit on room for incidentals. AND the fact that it will take 3-5 days to have my deposit credited back to my card. (The folks in front if me, left a cash deposit. They were told the mgr was on his way from home. Could they wait. Only head the cash to give them.) Property was clean. Hairdryer made clicking sound otherwise did not work. Room finally chilled down.
