「This is a good base . Very comfortable, well appointed and has the addition of a great hot tub nicely tucked away at the rear. We felt the fridge facilities was inadequate as it was too small and made difficult to keep enough product chilled. Good sized bathroom but shower not 4*.Bed very comfortable ,heating adequate. The couple that own the bungalow are very nice and will always help out if needed.」

「The room was upgraded to a 2 bed from 1 bed, a pleasant surprise. There are two bathrooms. The room has good facilities and amenities, including all you need for making a meal; and salt and pepper, laundry detergent and dish detergent. The oven trays are dirty from previous usage, so I told the reception. The flat has no air con, but two fans. It is still bearable despite the heat wave.」

「A lovely little cabin, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Even the bed was comfortable which was a huge bonus. It is obvious that the cabin is a labour of love for the hosts and not just a business. This is seen in the thoughtful way it is furnished and all the little extra touches around the place. The welcome pack was a nice suprise and very welcome. So nice to have their own honey and eggs .... yummy!.The hosts are warm and welcoming just like their cabin. We will return.」

「It started badly when, upon entering the room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Clearly, the room should have been decommissioned until it could be properly cleaned and fumigated.
As the property operates on an automated basis (the key is retrieved from a key safe with a code supplied by email), there was no receptionist on duty. Luckily, we managed to find a helpful cleaner who was still on the premises, who was able to arrange for an alternative room.
Although better, the room did not...

「We stayed in the Tern cottage for a week with our toddler and baby and had an amazing time. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you would need for a family week away, is very spacious, and furnished to a high standard. The garden was perfect both for our dog and for BBQs. The indoor pool was a real highlight which we used everyday. The cottage is perfectly located in the centre of North Norfolk so you can get to most popular locations within 30-40 minutes maximum.
