Grandios - Einfach das was wir lieben

Dies ist unser place to be! Wir waren zwar nur 4 Tage im Sesta Terra aber das war genug, um ein Juwel zu endecken. Die Lage ist schlicht atemberaubend und die Küche sehr gut, besonders für Liebhaber von Fisch und Meeresfrüchten. Sowohl die Canvas Lodges als auch die Cottages sind einfach herrlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Besondere Hinweise: ---------------------------- Mein Frau hat eine Einschränkung beim gehen und das wurde sofort beim Check in aufmerksam beachtet. Gebucht hatten wir eine Canvas-Lodge. Das Managment hat bemerkt, dass sich die Lodges für Personen mit Mobilitätseinschränkung nicht gut eignen und nach zwei nächten könnten wir gegen einen minimalen Aufpreis in ein Cottage wechseln, welches den Umständen vollkommen gerecht wurde! Das nennen ich Service vom Besten. Die Anfahrt mit dem Auto, ist auf dem letzten Stück nicht ganz einfach aber gut zu bewältigen.

This is one of kind property in this area. Cinque Terre is a region consisting of a few village stuck between the mountain and the Mediterranean Sea, the sharp landscape and views are world-renowned. The hotel itself is settled in a mountain side, overlooking the sea, the views are stunning. The property consists of bungalows and tents, it is rustic but well thought, and well kept. The swimming pool area is gorgeous, although a 5-10 minute walk depending on what side of the property your room is located. The restaurant serves high end delicious dishes, although pricey and in small quantities, don't expect to be full if you eat there... The room prices are equivalent to a 5 star hotel anywhere else, and the hotel is remotely located, about a 30 minute drive from the glamorous Ligurian coast, places like Rapallo and Portofino are even further out. I would recommend Sesta Terra for couples who want to stay in a remote comfortable and quite place, without any needs to move anywhere around, the mountain roads are not easy to drive, and even dangerous at times depending on the weather. The rooms rates are on the higher end, and maybe one should think twice before paying such a price to stay in a wooden cabin...

We stayed in one of the canvas tents, which was wonderful and a great experience. The view from the accommodation is truly beautiful and the walk over to the restaurant and spa is very easy. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The view and experience staying in the canvas tent was the best part for us.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön gelegen und man hat eine großartige Aussicht auf das Meer. Das ist aber leider auch schon alles. Der Service ist wenig professionell und viele Kleinigkeiten stimmen nicht. Nachts hat die Beleuchtung der dunklen Waldwege nicht funktioniert, beim Frühstück wird weder Gebäck noch Brötchen nachgelegt, das Abendessen ist nicht mehr als durchschnittlich und dennoch ziemlich teuer. Leider lässt auch der Comfort in den Zelten zu wünschen übrig und man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man viele Krabbeltiere in den Zimmern hat. Wenn man da empfindlich ist, sollte man sich diese Hotel nicht antun. Preis und Leistung passen leider nicht zusammen!

Property was clean and staff were very hospitable. Restaurant food was ok but the view and location are amazing! I thought our cabin had a little bit of a musty smell but it was very clean and the amenities were nice.
