“I rush that you provide a smoking area in the back instead of in the front entrance. I didn’t like walking through smoke at the entrance.”

“Beds were pretty stiff, pillows were like cardboard. Pool was working, no wifi that would work. No streaming services were available.”

“The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and having the kitchenette was a huge plus. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made check-in quick and easy. Everything was quiet, well kept, and exactly what we needed. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Mount Pleasant.”

“Rooms were poorly maintained. Sheets and towels may have been clean, but were stained. Lots of bugs in the rooms. Staff was friendly, but hard to communicate with.”

“There were cockroaches in the room and bathroom. There were no tissues. The breakfast was cold and poor. There was water on the stairs and on the aisle.”

“This is one of the best B&B's I and my wife have stayed. The walk in shower is truly amazing and has a door that opens out into the private porch area and hot tub. The breakfast is really delightful and plentiful. The hosts are great people and they will leave you in peace if that is what you want. We chose to visit with them and had pleasant conversation. We highly staying here you want peace and tranquility. It is such a lovely gem in the woods! ”

“The rooms have not been updated, clearly a hotel that has been used for “hourly” stays. Would not recommend for traveling especially with a family.”

“We enjoyed our stay. There was a mix up and we never received a code to open the gate. We arrived early but took quite a while to receive a call back. After we received the call all went smooth. Place is beautiful however did find small dog poop under island on wheels!”

“Property is great, enough big rooms, lots of outdoor space, great host and support. Very good place for family gatherings. Very close to the highway. We really enjoyed the stay!”

“Very quiet and peaceful. We liked sitting down by the water with the fire pit going watching the geese. The home is a lake cabin with comfortable amenities. Nothing fancy, just the things you need. ”

“We had a genuinely wonderful stay and would absolutely return. The property was spotlessly clean, well-stocked, and felt like a real home rather than a rental — thoughtful touches throughout made a big difference. The space itself was comfortable and the location worked out perfectly for us.The only thing worth mentioning: the main living area has large glass doors facing the road and neighboring houses, and there are no curtains or blinds to cover them. It wasn’t a dealbreaker by any means, but……

“The house was great but the lawn needed to be mowed. Walking through tall grass to get into the house was not good. The inside of the house was very clean and neat.”
