A small cottage in the trees along a Scenic Byway in Nantahala National Forest. One bedroom, one bath, forest starting at the property line.
The rushing creek is just a short walk off the deck and you hear it any time you're outside. Also, a little creek trickles past the back door.
It's a byway, so riders come through. Heavy insulation keeps it pretty quiet inside.
12 minutes to Franklin.
