“We told the host we would arrive after 6pm in Nov and she was there greeting us as soon as we arrived.
We liked the kitchen which got all the cooking wares but not sure if there is cooking oil or seasonings. The electric stove was slow to turn on. The host has provided the eggs, milk, tea bags, coffee and juice as well as bread in two sandwich boxes so we could prepare our breakfast.
Everywhere in the house, kitchen and bathroom are clean. Laundry is free with washing powder.

“The apartment was perfect for me, walkable to shopping, Sandy Bay, and CBD. Important to me was the proximity to the Hobart Hospital and hospice ward; and the owners’ willingness to accommodate any changes of plan relating to my friend’s illness. It is in a quiet area, easy to self- cater, easy to heat and with a comfortable bed. The chickens and wallabies in the garden were a plus.”
