“Clean and perfect size”

“I was disappointed by the condition of the home. Lights in kitchen did not work, door to main bedroom couldn’t close, had trouble with ceiling fans. Beds were comfortable and ac worked well. If going for old time farmhouse experience you got it. There is no microwave or coffee pot. Overall we enjoyed our stay even with the issues.”

“Exceptional place, exceeded our expectations. We will be coming back!”

“Loved our stay here! The cottage had everything we needed and is a great location in Folsom. Owner was wonderful- great communication, helpful, and accommodating to add an extra night after initial booking. We’ll definitely rebook the next time we’re in the area.”

“Cozy, nature-lover's camper! A few cobwebs, not much clothing space for a longer stay, and you can't use the oven/stove, however this place had a comfy bed, nice bathroom, coffee maker, a plug-in cooking pan, spacious fridge, nice living space, great internet and private, secluded location. Host was friendly and excellent to communicate with.”

“Beautiful house and beautiful property!! Quiet and secluded. Perfect place to find some relaxation. The owner's go above and beyond making sure you have all the necessities and more! Definitely the most thoughtful owners!”

“Very roomy, bathrooms could have been cleaner. Kitchen cookware very used, microwave area somewhat dirty. Other wise nice place lots of room for our multi family”

“The host was very nice and attentive and the property is very nice for a getaway from reality we will def be coming back for sure…”

“The property was exactly as described and portrayed in the pictures. We had a wonderful time relaxing by the river in the afternoons and on the porch in the mornings. We even had a visit from a fawn our first morning. We would definitely stay here again.”

“very nice property clean and quaint I would stay here again”

“Very nice”

“We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Very clean and comfortable. Amazing view of the lake and lots of fun things to do. My wife and kids didn’t want to leave. 5 stars .”

“This place is like a fancy tree house. We definitely enjoyed our trip! Everything was clean and it was delightful to be able to bring our dog. Access to the river was a cool feature and my husband enjoyed fishing briefly (before temperatures became too sweltering). Of note- there are no windows treatments in the house, which you definitely need to be cognizant of in the master bathroom, as there is a wraparound porch around the house. The lack of window treatments didn't really impact sleep……

“The drive into this rustic fishing camp was beautiful! It was a dirt road for the last little bit but that was the fun part. There are swamps right off the road and we saw a deer and a raccoon. The sandbar is also very nice and because the river was low it was extremely wide which I’m sure can change but we enjoyed it. Being so close to the water would be nice for the fishermen out there.”
