The Sunday Haus was perfect for a weekend get away. Great location just a block off Main Street. The house is on the far end of main but is still walkable to all the main areas.

Sunday House Weekend Getaway

My husband, son and I stayed at Flagstone Sunday house for a quick weekend getaway. The home was cozy and lovely. The back area was the perfect place for morning coffee and listening to the birds. Very peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were attentive, helpful and provided coffee and snacks upon arrival. The area is nice and quiet , which we appreciated. It was ideal for a family trip!

This home was in the perfect location for us - close enough to walk to many restaurants, shopping, and Oktoberfest, but far enough away to be quiet. Had a fantastic time! House was very clean, all linens and kitchen equipment are very high-quality. House is very unique and very charming. Exactly what you would want in a Sunday house in Fredericksburg. Backyard is all Flagstone with an outdoor fireplace, great space for enjoying a glass of wine! We will definitely look to stay there again.

This is the best VRBO experience I have ever had. The hosts anticipated every need: bug repellent, starter log for outdoor fireplace, variety of creamers for coffee/tea in the fridge, snacks, extra bed linens, I could go on and on….. perfection…. loved staying here! .

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the German Sunday House. The only caution I'd give is if you're older or not in good health, the narrow stairs and low ceilings could be a challenge. We had a great time.

House was wonderful and walking distance to shopping/restaurants. King size bed upstairs, two twin beds in front room. Make sure you’re ok with navigating stairs, some are narrow/steep. Would definitely stay here again.
