This is a University residence for most of the year but a perfectly fine inn during July and August. The price was less than half that of the city average so yes it’s basic but for value and a quiet, safe and clean place to sleep it was perfect. Was able to have a great meal out at Lunar rogue Pub with the money we saved.

It's obviously just a place to sleep. Don't expect 5 stars but, everyone is always nice here and the ramen noodles next door are awesome. Pet friendly too. I give it a solid 3 stars.

Comfortable stay.

Very comfortable compared to similar properties in same class of hotels. Quiet and easy to access. Friendly staff. Strong internet access. Very well equipped shared kitchen. Not many restaurants or shops in reasonable walking distance. More suited to travelers with access to an automobile (free parking space).

Check in was easy. We arrived later than we expected, due to construction en route. The intersection with the lights, so close to the driveway/entrance, is tricky; we actually turned into the elementary school parking lot. But it was easy to exit back onto the road and turn right into the Skyline Motel driveway. My husband and I prefer firmer mattresses, and we found that the bed moved whenever either of us moved. We were only there for a short stay, as we had made reservations for the Digby Ferry from St. John, so we checked out by 5 a.m. We were all happy that there was a pizzeria on site, and that we could get a hot meal, even though it was around 8 p.m. when we finished checking in. We did not find a large garbage, or any recycling boxes, so we left the food containers and empty pop bottles on top of the microwave for staff to recycle. Normally we tidy up better after ourselves.
