“We checked in, and later, the power went out. We had to leave. The front desk was neither clear nor helpful. We still have not received credit for our stay or deposit.”

“Check in is not from 11-3 so we got there way too early for no reason. There were no towels at 330, 530,630 at 12:30 they finally gave us two towels for our family of 6. Pretty sad.”

“Drove 2 hours to come stay here and go to the beach for a mini family vaca. Read online the reviews and really thought it was going to be outstanding considering paying 350$ got there early to not be able to check in a hour early. (It was over 100 degrees outside) & not one room ready. Then get up to room to not be able to find remote. Thats ok, call the front desk for them to tell me to look myself. Never found it. Had to walk down and she said she would send someone up with one. Ok….. TOOK 30……

“A peaceful getaway with beautiful views of the river. Rooms were very clean and inviting. Close to restaurants downtown.”

“It appeared the breakfast was short staffed. Not enough food or supplies were on hand. The gal seemed to be working hard but not enough support. Other Fairfield’s have done much better. Also I hope the guy that was sleeping in the breakfast area in the afternoon is ok.”

“We were very impressed by our stay here! Very clean hotel, the staff was super friendly and helpful! The pool was clean and refreshing, after a hot afternoon at the beach! The breakfast was a nice variety, and delicious ! We have previously stayed next door, but will be coming back here, to the Comfort Suites, when we come to St Joe!”

“The hotel itself was nice but the power went out at like 3pm and was out the entire stay so we only got to use the pool for an hour, no breakfast or coffee the next morning, not much emergency lighting in the evening after the sun went down. On top of all that, the fire alarms went off twice. Once at 10pm and once at 2am. We understand the weather was no fault of the staff but things could have been handled differently for guests.”

“Location was great. Staff is wonderful, very nice people at the front desk, at the breakfast area they were on top of refilling urging that was empty- very good attention to detail. Overall good stay, need to do some upgrades and carpet had some stains. Over Al it was clean and comfortable and again very close to the dunes and beach.”

“I reserved a Double Queen Suite which sleeps 6. The photos showed 2 queens plus a pull out couch in an adjacent room. What I got was 2 queens and in the adjacent room a live seat which was not a pull out. I attempted to call the front desk from the room phone… which had no dial tone and turned out not to be connected to anything… apparently just decorative. I called the hotel on my cell.. I was told that the property has NO pull out beds, and that they have NO CONTROL over what Expedia……
