Wonderful vacation house in the woods with majestic view.

We were 3 couples and throughly enjoyed to house and surroundings. The large windows and view make you feel part of the outdoors. Three bedrooms and three full baths made it comfortable. Wonderful well stocked kitchen.

44th Anniversary Get away

We were overwhelmed by the beauty of this home and its location. It was nestled among tall trees and foliage and surrounded by a beautifully manicured lawn and deck overlooking the waters of pueget sound. It was a delightfully comfortable and peaceful trip and close enough to some quaint local towns for short day trips. We would love to return for another visit!

Amazing house in a beautiful location

We had a splendid time at this updated cabin. Everything was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Loved the gorgeous view from the deck and sat there every night watching the amazing water and sunset. Great toy and activity closet. Highly recommend.

Private retreat with an unforgettable view

This was a beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property with a fantastic view. We loved the peace and quiet that surrounded this home. The privacy of the property was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the shipping traffic that frequent the waterway behind the home. The wildlife was fun to see as well, we saw several bald eagles and even a coyote. This was definitely one of the best places we have stayed and made for a memorable trip.

Serenity and Scenery

We are so glad that we found this beautiful home in Freeland as we planned a trip to Whidbey Island to visit our Navy grandson. We were able to have him stay with us for 4 days where we could relax and spoil him, as grandparents like to do! From here we explored nearby areas, walked on the beach a few miles down the road, ate seafood and watched eagles from deck. Every sunset was amazing from this lovely home in Freeland. We will make plans to return!

Beautiful home on a gorgeous property. Check in process was simple. Had problems with lights in primary bedroom and no WiFi but Vacasa customer service was able to help resolve quickly. Would recommend to couples or small groups.

Spectacular Views

This home is a PNW oasis with incredible views, amazing chefs kitchen with all you need to make wonderful meals, amazing bed in the master bedroom and great hangout room downstairs for game play and relaxing! ☺️ We had immaculate weather, perfect for a the most memorable sunset experience I’ve had in a while. I will forever remember our time on this beautiful property and definitely plan to return very soon!

Simply amazing view - and more!

Amazing views and grounds! Amazing house too! The three of us everything we needed - and more. The techie things were fun. Communication with the property manager was always extremely quick, but they and we could have used just a few more instructions about the house upon arrival (so we’d need to ask fewer questions). We had to stagger our showers a bit in order to give time for the hot water to regenerate. Truly, this is a truly beautiful and amazing house and site.

Majestic forest

The property looks even better than the photos! You’re welcomed onto the property by driving up a secluded driveway surrounded by trees, rhododendrons, and a well maintained yard. The view of the ocean encapsulates you, walking up to the house. The decor and stocked/supplied items are well thought out to have you in mind. We had an issue with the thermostat and heater, but the property management was responsive and punctual to get it fixed. I would say the only thing missing were Kleenex and a sitting chair and/or table for the master bedroom. We really loved our stay waking up to the ocean view. I loved the house so much, I want to replicate one of my own!

Amazing stay!!

Selfishly I hesitate to write a glowing review for fear that this wonderful place will be booked up all year long. Lol! But honestly, we loved everything about this house. It’s been recently remodeled/updated and has all top-of-the-line amenities. The bed was comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and the view was simply stunning. We had a small issue that was handled promptly by the property manager, all of our interactions with her and staff from Vacasa was wonderful. Things happen, and this wasn’t the end of the world and barely impacted us…but we truly appreciated how we were taken care of. One suggestion I would make is to have a book/binder for reference on use of some of the high tech gadgets (TV/thermostat/blinds/etc) as well as departure expectations (some places want you to start a load of towels or run the dishwasher, but it wasn’t clear what the wants were here). Aside from that, things were perfect. I’ll be staying again for sure!!

Wow Factor

From the moment we drove up to the house and entered this beautiful home, all we could say was Wow. The views were fabulous and the interior so comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to Langley & Double Bluff Beach as well as Coupeville. The local restaurants in both towns were great but with a full service grocery store in Freeland,the homes “waterfront dining” can’t be beat. What fun to watch the variety of ships going by and exceptional sunsets.

Beautiful and serene weekend getaway

This house and property were beautiful and perfect for a weekend getaway from Seattle. Everything in the home was immaculate and comfortable. When we had questions they were respond to quickly. We ended up spending much more time at the house than we had originally planned because it was such a lovely place to be after the daytime adventures—cooking, relaxing, sitting on the deck, reading.
