「This hotel is beautiful and the only place to stay in Rivas. Room was comfortable, pool was amazing. The attached restaurant is only okay, level of customer service doesn’t match the hotel at all. Food was ok, but not great. 」

「It's a really beautiful property with amazing rooms. There's a new infinity pool area that faces the Pacific Ocean and the skyline (including the statue) of San Juan del Sur. The breakfast spread in the morning is amazing! I also liked the dinner options (pizza night on Wednesday and fresh mahi mahi from the coast).」

「Staying at this guest house was a truly special experience. Being perched uphill at the top of the mountain, it offers absolutely gorgeous views over the ocean and the bay, especially at sunrise and sunset. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and generous, and the pool was spotless and very well maintained. I would definitely recommend choosing the Mambo bedrooms rather than the Rumba ones, as they felt more comfortable and better located. Keep in mind that the property is set high up in the...

「The location is great - 2 minute walk to the beach and centre of town. The room and bed were huge, comfortable, clean and cool, and the balcony has a fantastic sea view. The kitchen is basic. We had to call to confirm our check in time as there is no one around when the house is empty. We were the only guests, so we believe this is why they moved us to Casa Andalucia which is an exceptional hotel (as long as you don’t mind the steep hill - which we climbed easily).」
