Great location and very spacious property

The villa is perfect for a large group as it has lots of space and is very spread out. The location is perfect as everything you need is on your doorstep and it's only a few minutes walk from the beach and train station. I was disappointed by the payment system, which was very difficult to use and company added an additional admin fee. When I queried this, the attitude was "pay it or you'll lose your reservation". Check in was also very stressful as there was a burglar alarm with no instructions, so the police ended up coming. There was no house manual so we had to work everything out for ourselves e.g. how to work the air con, the recycling system etc. Overall I'd recommend the place but I wanted to flag the negatives.

Perfectly situated property.

This property is a little gem with masses of space and centrally located. I recently completed a stay with 5 adults and 4 children and it was just perfect for us. The pool is a good size with plenty of sunbathing space around it. The garden is large to the rear with plenty of space to bbq and sit out to eat. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, one being ensuite but there are two other bathrooms to use. Upstairs had a double bedroom. There is an entirely separate living accommodation on the far side with its own kitchen/bathroom. There is also an additional bedroom next to the games room with a shower/toilet located nearby. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking equipment and we have three large fridges to use over the whole property. The property is minutes from the train station and a large supermarket and the beach is 5 mins walk away. The villa is surrounded by loads of lovely local eateries but if you want something more English you can go right to the seafront. Over all and amazing holiday and would let hesitate to book again.

A beautiful multi-generational family holiday in Feb 2025

The villa is very central and within walking distance of everything. Restaurants, daily shopping as well as the beach are in the immediate vicinity. The Domicil is an ideal starting point for activities. The villa and bedrooms are spread over two buildings. Due to the design, normal at this time of year is the coolness and slight humidity in the house. Air conditioners with heating function are available, but difficult to operate without further instructions, door and protection switches. The very good beds and the bedrooms are worth mentioning. Unsightly and too contrary to the photos is the furniture in the kitchen as well as in the outdoor area. Here is a clear recommendation to regularly check the stability, stability as well as comfort and integrity on the part of the landlord. The kitchen is not well-being. The oven or the prepared food has burned once, the brownish discoloration on the outside is clear. Unusable without the missing baking tray. The refrigerator in the kitchen area is a no-go and is disposed of, it is full of organic growth. A second refrigerator in the dining area is available. The cheap kettle caused a short circuit when switched on. The equipment and comfort of the house is otherwise very good, the living room including the technology, TV, Wi-Fi etc. All in all, a nice stay and great location that we would book again with a good price-performance ratio.

The property was great and everything there as stated, one problem when we arrived the place was cold and bedding felt damp, I know the time of year was our choice but still felt bedding and maybe other form of heating could be a good idea, other wise we all loved it and if we need to visit again we will book the same place many thanks

Perfect location but damp!

This villa is gorgeous and the location is perfect but the whole place is damp and smells. The fridge was mouldy and none of the air con worked for heat or cold air. The pool was too cold to get in, there is a huge hotel that has been built nextdoor so that blocks all the sun to it and it is not a saltwater pool as advised. This villa needs some tlc from its owners and it could be amazing, the damp really lets it down. We were waking up with wet sheets from it.

This cottage was the most peaceful wonderful place,awsome sunsets that have to be seen to believe.We will return and would recommend this to anyone that likes to really get away from things for a enjoyful vacation.Did I mention LOCATION.Close to your needs but away from distractions of everyday life.PEACEFUL is putting it mildly.

Great Trip!

This place was the perfect place for my friends and I. We had meals inside and outside on the screen porch with the ocean right in front of us. Takes seconds just to walk across to the beach from the house which was nice. Had beautiful weather so at times we would let up the windows so we could feel the breeze and see the sunset from inside the home. The screened in porch was awesome as well which is where we spent most of our time besides at the beach of course. The price was extremely fair for what we got, and I would definitely recommend this place for a family or group of 5 or even 6. Also parking was easy for some places it can take forever to park. It is not far from some good food places either which is where we ate at too. Definitely will be keeping this place in mind if I revisit Mexico Beach.

We initially booked the property for a group of 9 but the listing says it sleeps up to 15. A week before we arrived, I emailed the host to confirm 11 of us would be staying and only received a response 24h before our arrival asking for an additional 360. We were happy to pay but this could have been communicated in advance. We counted the beds and the property only sleeps 12 so beware if there are 15 of you! When we arrived, we checked in using a key safe but the keys did not open any of the bedroom doors. We contacted the agent and sent pics/videos but were told we had the correct keys and the caretaker would help us tomorrow (so we’d have nowhere to sleep). Only after a lot of back and forth for 4 hours did they eventually come to try the keys and gave us a different bunch. The pool is beautiful and gets sun until around 2pm, however there are not enough loungers for everyone. I raised this during our stay but didn’t receive extras. The property is also listed as having a bbq which is in fact a table top grill (smaller than a disposable) that is not suitable for even one person. Again I raised this but was told that’s all there is. The hob is induction but only one pan is magnetic so you can’t cook. The oven has no shelf and the kitchen fridge is very dirty (though there is an extra and cleaner fridge). The property is perfectly located a few minutes walk from the beach and train station but the property needs more love.

wonderful holiday in super villa in prime location

We are a week in villa Mercedes been with our family.(11 pers.) Very friendly received by Ricardo.The villa is beautiful, clean and is in a prime location right in the vibrant life of Fuengirola. Swimming pool is great for the kids, just a pity that it is early in the day in the shade is due to high apartment next to it. Everything is within walking distance! Also are you so on the beach. We still have a dolphins trip and happy we were allowed to enjoy their jumps out of the water!Also, we are a day in Mijas, a real Spanish village uphill. WOW!!!!

I can't begin to describe this wonderful cottage! The full screened front porch is divine! Very clean; ample linens; small but plentiful! Well stocked kitchen with a large pot for boiling those fresh shrimp!! VERY short walk to the beach and you can hear the waves and feel the breeze on the porch...Did I mention the screened porch? Alexandria is awesome to rent from, for example: Based on the above, we couldn't bring ourselves to leave on our departure date so, one phone call to Alexandria and we were set for an extra day! Trust me....we'll be back to this cottage next June!!!! Save me a week in June 2015!! Thanks VERY much!!!

Great location!

The house is in a great location! It's literally less than a 5 minute walk to the promenade. Lots of amazing restaurant options nearby. If you're traveling with under 10 year old kids, there's a great fun park very close to the house. There's also a great beach that has a very kid friendly beach where the waves are cut off by rocks. Check in and communication could have been better honestly. I've stayed at a lot of VRBOs and communication is normally a lot quicker. Seems like the easiest way to get a hold of them was WhatsApp. The beach chairs at the house were not the same as the ones in the pictures and were in very poor condition. Two broke and the plastic one hurt my niece. There's definitely a lot of plusses to this place. It's very family friendly. I'd recommend staying there .

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 7 Personen. Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten mit der letzten Überweisung, wurde uns von den Mitarbeitern von FeWo-direkt kompetent geholfen.Somit konnte der Urlaub starten. Wir verbrachten 12 schöne Tage in Fuengirola. Das Ferienhausist grundsätzlich in Ordnung und bietet eine gute Basis für einen erlebnisreichen Urlaub, alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen man benötigt kein Auto.Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt.Es gab einige kleine Mängel ( z.B. nur eine intakte Fernbedienung für alle Klimaanlagen, defekte Stühle im Außenbereich, Billard und Tischtennis nur eingeschränkt nutzbar ) die den Aufenthalt aber nicht wesentlich beeinträchtigt haben. Der Kontakt zum Verwalter vor Ort war positiv auf Fragen wurde zeitnah reagiert.Wir würden wiederkommen.

Casa cómoda y bien localizada

El proceso de check in fue simple, la información de acceso nos fue enviada por WhatsApp. Sin embargo tomó varias llamadas sin respuesta y mensajes con diferentes interlocutores antes de recibir la información. La comunicación con el equipo fue rápida y fluida durante la estancia. La casa está muy bien localizada, a 5 minutos a pie de la estación de Cercanías, con varios supermercados cerca y a 5 minutos a pie de la playa. La piscina está en buen estado y está en la sombra durante toda la tarde, lo que es ideal con niños. El jardín es grande y bien mantenido, ideal para que los niños jueguen. La casa es cómoda y está en buen estado de manera general. Sin embargo necesita un poco de mantenimiento: las persianas del comedor al lado de la cocina están dañadas, una silla de playa está rota, hay moho en el baño de la habitación principal y en una de las habitaciones secundarias, hay bastantes hormigas en la dependencia al fondo del jardín, algunos mosquiteros están rotos y la habitación al lado de la sala de juegos no tiene aire acondicionado o un ventilador. Al llegar a la casa, encontramos sábanas húmedas sobre 2 camas, y la zona de la piscina no estaba muy limpia (colillas de cigarrillo, etc.). A pesar de esos detalles pasamos una muy buena estancia. El proceso de Check out fue simple.

Totalt skuffende.

Huset var meget slidt og brugt på mange områder og levede overhovedet ikke op til vores forventninger. Ved ankomst var der en indelukket lugt i huset, gardiner var rullet ned og det bar ikke præg af at der havde været folk i huset for at gøre klar til vores ankomst. Mange fejl som skulle rettes så som: Beskidte hynder/stof på spisebords stole og solsenge, hoveddør svær at åbne, bambus gardiner for vinduer i stue og køkken kunne ikke åbnes, meget få vinglas og alm. vandglas i køkkenet som ellers skriver huset er til 15 personer, grill ulækker gammel og beskidt, rustne stål stole, beskidte plastik møbler, låse på 2 toiletdøre kunne ikke låses. Personale som mødte op for at rette fejlene kunne vi ikke kommunikerer med pga sprog. Brugte meget tid på telefon samtale/sms besked. Malaga2malaga var ikke i stand til at lave et møde i huset for der at gennemgå det vi ikke var tilfreds med, totalt armatøragtigt. Annonce var totalt misvisende af huset udvendig og hvor slidt huset var.

Rigtig dejligt og autentisk byhus med super beliggenhed i hjertet af Fuengirola. Vi var 2 familier afsted med store børn (alder 13-18 år). Der var rigeligt med plads til alle. Værelserne fordeler sig med 4 i huset, og 2 i haven i hvert sit anneks. Poolen var fantastisk, mega dejligt den var med saltvand og perfekt størrelse/dybde til vores behov. Der var sol i haven hele dagen og det meste af dagen ved poolen.Huset er ekstremt godt placeret, bil er ikke nødvendig. Ca 350 m fra tog, og busstoppested lige uden for døren. Der er ca 300m til stranden, 300 m til supermarked Día og 500m til lidt større Mercadona. Huset er udstyret med intet mindre end 3 store køle/fryse skabe hvilket var super dejligt da der er brug for mange kolde drikkevarer og mad. Køkkenet kunne godt bruge mere service, men er ellers fint udstyret. Forvent ikke et minimalistisk nybyggeri - dette er en ældre hyggelig spansk autentisk villa.
