This guesthouse, where you can relax while gazing at Mount Fuji from the sofas in the living room or on the terrace, is a fully private, modern Japanese-style property where every detail has been carefully crafted. Up to 16 guests can enjoy a spacious and comfortable stay.

To ensure a comfortable stay year-round, even in Fujiyoshida where winters are harsh, we’ve incorporated a special high-insulation structure. The living and dining areas on both the first and second floors, as well as the changing room and bathrooms, are fully equipped with underfloor heating, so even in the fall and winter, the warmth radiating from the floor will envelop you as you relax.

One of the great pleasures unique to this inn is spending time gazing at the beautiful Mount Fuji from the second-floor living room. The bright and open living and dining area is the perfect place to spend precious moments with family and friends. Whether gathered around the striking solid-wood dining table or the sunken kotatsu table surrounded by sofas, enjoy warm meals, chat over coffee or wine, and spend your time however you please. In the evening, soft indirect lighting gently illuminates the modern Japanese-style space.

On the spacious terrace adjoining the living room, we’ve set up a sofa set where you can relax in comfort. In the morning, savour a cup of coffee in the crisp air while gazing at Mount Fuji; at noon, feast on freshly grilled barbecue; and at dusk, enjoy the slowly shifting scenery. These moments, spent under the watchful eye of the majestic Mount Fuji, will become cherished memories of your trip.

You can also enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Fuji from the large public bath, which accommodates up to 10 people. After warming up in the steam sauna, relax on the dedicated “Totonoi Deck” while feeling the pleasant breeze. After your bath, help yourself to a glass of chilled water from the water dispenser and take your time savouring the lingering afterglow. Since the property features private bathrooms in addition to the large public bath, you can enjoy a comfortable stay even with a large group.

The entrance lobby features Ryukyu tatami mats that make you want to walk barefoot. We welcome you to a space where the tranquility of a traditional ryokan harmonises with modern design.

The rooms are configured for 4, 4, and 8 guests, respectively, and feature simple locks, so you can rest easy even during group trips or training sessions. Even with a maximum of 16 guests, there is ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy their own time at their own pace. All the wood you’ll touch—such as bedheads and window frames—is made of solid hinoki cypress.

With parking available for 7 cars, you can travel with your group by car with complete peace of mind.

It’s about a 5-minute drive from the Fujiyoshida Nishikatsura Smart IC, and a 7- to 8-minute taxi ride (1,500–2,000 yen) from “Mt. Fuji” Station, which features a convenient station building. It’s also easily accessible from the nearest “Shimoyoshida” Station—about a 3-minute taxi ride or a 15-minute walk.

Within walking distance are the large supermarket “OGINO” (5-minute walk) and convenience stores “LAWSON” and “7-Eleven” (6-minute walk), ensuring a comfortable stay even for guests staying multiple nights.

The “Fuji-michi” photo spot, which has gone viral on social media worldwide, is about a 10-minute walk or a 1-minute drive away. Other popular scenic spots include the Chureito Pagoda (at Niikurayama Sengen Shrine—8 minutes by car), Fuji-Q Highland (9 minutes by car), Oshino Hakkai (12 minutes by car), and Lake Kawaguchi (14 minutes by car)—all popular spots in the Mount Fuji area—are easily accessible, making this a convenient base for sightseeing.
