“Check in was easy, the beds were comfortable, and there was good off street parking. It's a fine choice if there are three or fewer people in your group and you don't want to go with a hotel. Some things I wish I had realized ahead of time: There are only three comfortable places to sit in the living room, a loveseat and an armchair. If you have more than three people, the others will have to sit on a backless metal barstool or the floor. The house is cooled by two small window units neither of……

“Was here for a work trip with my team. I am a college golf coach and it always makes the experience better for our student athletes when we can stay in a house rather than a hotel. There were 7 of us total and everyone had their own bed. Plenty of space for everyone. We had an issue checking in with the key pad not working. We were able to get a hold of the host where they could unlock it remotely and then had someone bring over a physical key for us to use.We needed a couple extra blankets and……

“Clean and perfect location. Hot tub and message chair were great! ”

“A phenomenal stay. Great atmosphere; a truly unique experience with the artwork as well as tongue-in-cheek names for the spaces. By far our favorite spot during our week-long travels across Missouri. Great location. An amazing house - a historic home in every sense of the word; and the best value of any place we stayed. Coupled with exceptional places to eat or have a drink within walking distance, and even more within a 2-mile drive, staying at the Big House made Jefferson City our……

“The space was VERY clean. We walked about in bare feet, and our feet stayed clean. It really helped us to relax and enjoy the place. The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked a few times, and found all the utensils/pots and pans we needed. Beds were quite comfortable. While we could not walk to any thing, it was a very short drive to anything we wanted or needed (by short we mean less than 15 minutes). The neighborhood was quiet at night (even though it was during the 4th of July). The……

“Lots of room. good communication with the host. easy check in and out.”

“The house was very well kept. It was late June and the Main air conditioning unit did struggle to keep the house cool, but the bedroom units did a great job. Hot water worked great. The house was stocked with everything we could need and more. We enjoyed the pool table as well.”

“We had the best stay for the week of our daughter’s wedding. Lots of room to spread out and do all our wedding prep. The wedding party had a beautiful home to get ready in. Our kids loved hanging out in the garage/game room. The hosts were great to communicate with. Pet friendly is a huge plus for us! Location was great. Highly recommend!”
