Great location surrounded by vineyards and views.

Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. Since we stayed in November that meant we to make a fire every night we came home from touring the area / visiting friends. It was a little more work than expected :). There was an english manual for the property, it was hidden in a drawer so found that the day before we left. Kitchen is simple, if you like to cook, keep your meals simple. Owner is nice and responsive.

Fijn rustiek huis met uitzicht op de Serra da Estrela

Wij genoten van het verblijf in het rustieke huis. Alles was prima verzorgd, het haardvuur stond al aan bij aankomst.De eigenaar is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Omdat wij nogal lang zijn was het bed voor ons een beetje te kort. Vanaf de veranda is er een mooi uitzicht op de olijfboomgaard en de wijngaard voor het huis. In de omgeving konden we mooi wandelen met onze honden.Fijn dat de honden mee konden op vakantie. In het nabij gelegen dorp is een kleine supermarkt die goede producten verkoopt. Wij hebben een goede herinnering aan dit huis.

Hemos estado dos semanas con nuestros dos perros. La casa está muy bien situada y es bastante cómoda, las fotos no le hacen justicia. Para desconectar es ideal. La única pega que nada tiene que ver on la casa en sí, es que al estar rodeada de zonas de cultivo, durante varios días se oían disparos día y noche para ahuyentar a los jabalís. Así que si tenéis perros sensibles a los ruidos tenedlo en cuenta, ya que lo pueden pasar mal como les pasó a los nuestros.

O proprietário foi muito atencioso e guiou-nos com cautela até à quinta onde se encontra a casa. Ver as estrelas à noite e uma raposa....fantástico! Espaço exterior fantástico. A casa ainda faltam alguns utensílios como torradeira e faca de pão e também não acho que acomode confortavelmente 6 pessoas. Bom para 1 casal com 1 filho. Mais já se torna desconfortável.
