We were hoping to arrive earlier than stated check in, to make use of fridge before we set off on our bikes for the day, Alex was extremely helpful and gracious in immediately responding to our request with a yes. 「Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. 「We stayed here for one night en route back to London. The barn flat was immaculate, comfortable and ideal for a short stay. Anna greeted us on arrival and was a charming host. We highly recommend the Churchill Arms for dinner – only a 5-10 minute walk and our meal was excellent. In all, a wonderful experience – we would definitely stay here again.」
