It was a great place to stay with free parking , in house pub , gym ( requires extra payment), swimming pool( also requires payment over the room charges). Rooms were big, comfortable, with comfortable beds, Wi-Fi, TV , and a great shower. All in all if you are not looking for extreme refinement it is a great place to stay

Great hotel, was under renovation, but our room was excellent. The only downside was the younger adults who decided to have a party in the car park outside until 3 am in the morning! But the staff did their very best to move them on. It is a public car park for the bowling across the road. Generally, the restaurant in the hotel is better than that across the road. Quieter, and the food was very good. The pool was great for the children.

A very young, "modern" hotel. Check yourself in via their computer (a bit like self check-out at a supermarket, a member of staff was on hand to help but wasn't there to do it for you - never understand the logic of companies employing a member of staff to just stand and watch when they could be doing the job!). Restaurant was dreadful, we ate here in the evening, in a very loud bar, the food was edible but that's all you could say. Breakfast was a complete bun fight! There were insufficient tables for the number of guests, the buffet was constantly running out, it was dreadful.

The gym was good. The bedroom very large but not inviting, the colours drab very dark. Very cold. No heating untill 4.30 for a few hours. Fortunately we were able to get an extra heater and managed to get air con to blow out warm air. It was obviously just renovated but not by a woman, as no plug sockets near mirror to do hair. The lighting very dull. As the room was so big a sofa would have been nice. Breakfast not very warm, also dining room could do with being warmer. Choice of food not great. Good parking. Unfortunately won't book to stay again.
