"Annual friends ATV trip in the northwoods. A little later than usual this year but still a fun trip. The place was relatively easy to find, only a slight bit of confusion on which unit (there are two) that we had. Easily worked out. The place was obviously remodeled fairly recently (previous commercial space?) and was very spacious. Amenities were present (towels, soap, silverware, etc) and everything was clean. If you have mobility issues this might not be the place for you as it requires steep steps to get into. Didn’t bother us but something to note. Bedrooms are small with little storage and living area is small. We loved the wood fireplace and extra blankets. "

We spent the 4th floating in the lake and sitting on the deck.We watched fireworks from the dock.The hammocks on the lake front were a perfect touch to a long day. "The cottage is perfectly located on Chicaugon Lake. It was very, very clean when we arrived and the kitchen is great to cook in. The deck was wonderful. The host was very pleasant and tried to accommodate our needs. That being said, the front door does not latch. You don’t need a code, you just push in the door. The queen mattress and the two twin mattresses are terribly uncomfortable. They are soft and worn out. Military showers are recommended because if you don’t, you may run out of hot water."
