Simply spectacular!

The home was so well thought out, everyone loved having their own bed/bathroom suite(even the kiddos !) The spacious kitchen & open concept made it easy to entertain & enjoy family meals. We loved watching the horses from the front porch and spotting birds, deer, turkeys,and more from the spacious back deck. Gracious & responsive hosts, beautiful decor, tranquil setting, everyone loved it!

House is beautiful! Two master bedrooms on the main floor and two rooms in the basement was the perfect setup for us. We are already talking about booking this again in Summer. Quick drive (like 16-18 mins) into downtown Galena. Kids absolutely loved looking out the window and seeing the horses.

Modern, Roomy, and Comfortable

Our family group of 8 loved this property and quickly made it our home away from home. It’s modern, roomy and is great for groups. The well stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals and the grill outside let us make burgers, etc. The big dining room / kitchen island seating and Living room were the main area for us to get together and eat, play games, etc. It was the center of activity for most of our stay.It’s a beautiful location and we spent a fair amount of time outside. We had a couple of bonfires, played yard games, and spent lots of time sitting on the deck sipping coffee and enjoying nature. It was very relaxing and just what we needed.The owners were kind and attentive and everything went smoothly.Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun stay!

a magnificent house

We had a great time in this beautiful house. The magnificent photos are for once below reality. (very modern house, with nice spaces and fully furnished) The kitchen was very well equipped and very clean. There is a huge grill. We were able to enjoy the outdoor facilities: the hot pot and the much appreciated fireplace. The rooms, all with bathroom, delighted us because. we slept very well. The place is very quiet facing nature and little rabbits. For a quiet hollyday, nothing better.

Wedding Stay

We stayed here during the week and weekend of our son’s wedding. We had grandparents stay with us as well as our two adult children. Everyone loved this house. It is beautiful, clean, and perfect for entertaining. We would stay here again. Absolutely perfect!

Beautiful newer home. We enjoyed sitting out front watching the horses across the street. I always bring TP, paper toweling, etc. and that was all there and plenty of it. House was very clean which is extremely important to me. Furniture and bed were all very comfortable. Kitchen supplies were good except there were no kitchen rags- (unless I missed them) which I find important in order to wipe down the counter tops but brought my own so it wasn't an issue. Plenty of kitchen towels however. The only issue we had was the keypad on the door. The instructions indicate to touch the keypad for it to light up and then punch the numbers in and we had issues getting back in the house the first night. Owner did answer and unlocked for us. My husband played around with it the next morning and found you just need to hit the first key and the rest of the code. No issues after that. Definitely would stay here again. Thank you Alexis and Ryan.
