Very run down and basic

Possibly the smallest room Ive ever stayed in. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was old and in poor shape, stained lampshade on the tiny desk. Glass door to bathroom so all light flooded thru there. Curtains did not meet in the middle in the bedroom. Bathroom was designed as a wet room, no shower curtain, awkward tiny 1cm "step" between toilet and shower. Kept falling over it. Windows and glass shelf in bathroom were very dirty. Tiled floor in bathroom very slippery when wet no mat provided. Ceiling fan in bedrroom rattled and wobbled. Air Conditioning worked well. The "roof terrace" was broken and dirty, two hammocks hung there in shreds. The pictures shown on hotels.com bear no resemblance to current reality. I do NOT recommend this property.

Hotel très bien situé au centre du Fort de Galle et le personnel est très souriant et sympathique. La chambre est très correcte avec moustiquaire, wifi qui fonctionne et AC, mais on aurait apprécié que le ménage soit fait entre deux nuits pour le prix (qui s’explique je pense par l’emplacement). En résumé un hôtel à l’emplacement pratique pour une nuit à Galle.

ご主人は親切。移動サービスについて相談したところ、しっかりアレンジしてくれたし、感じの良い方（日本語は不可）。立地は中心部でロケーションも良い。WiFi接続環境も良い。部屋も清潔。シャワーやトイレも十分使える。コスパを考えれば不快感・不満点は全くない。施設自体含む全体的な古さ・アメニティーの簡素さなど細かい点が気になる方は、コストかけてホテルにするべき。そもそもVilla宿泊に向かない方だと思いますので。

They transferred us to a bad hotel

Whenever you look for a hotel for your stay, you browse every possible hotel until you find the one you want to stay at. Then imagine that the hotel you booked transfers you to another hotel, one that you discarded while browsing. Giving you a “ocean view” room, with no, or minimal, ocean in sight.. this is what Muhsin Villa decided to do with our reservation. They moved us to a hotel called Sunset Fort, a horrible hotel, away from the fort center, a hotel we would never have booked. Very disappointed!! On top of that, we paid more for the room at Muhsin that we never got than the room rate is at Sunset Fort. We would never book Muhsin again!

Amazing stay at Muhsin Villa

The stay at Muhsin Villa was amazing. Check-in was super fast. We stayed here for 2 nights. Souad and Zahir were great hosts. I had nice chat with Zahir. Breakfast was good too. The best thing about this place is the location. It is at the center of the fort. Just opposite to Deco on 44. We really enjoyed the stay here. Room was clean. We got hot water in the shower. Nothing to complain of the price we pay. It is completely value for money.
