Just 50 yards from the beach, walk to the Island's best coffee at Pariah coffee. Breakfast burritos at the gas station across the street. House has great Beach views and great TV for movies at night. Very comfortable stay.

Nice place for a short stay on the beach

Location was great and easy to find. We could see the water/beach while in the front room. Enjoyed the table that could fit my family for meals. The kitchen was great to cook in and I enjoyed the open concept so everyone felt like they were apart of what was going on while in the house. Some minimal cosmetic updates needed but nothing that negatively impacted our stay. We would stay again!

Perfect beach stay with our small family. Good location and easy beach access. Showers had great water pressure and got nice and hot which was perfect after a cold day at the beach! Would have been nice if the home had additional cooking supplies like oil and salt and pepper but other than that it was great!

Great Memorial Day Getaway

Super cute home literally less than a minute walk to the beach. The home itself had all the basic needs. Neighbors were extremely friendly. Communication with management was great. Overall will be booking this place again.

Great location, perfect house for our family trip

This house was exactly as described and it was perfect for our family vacation! We traveled with four kids (6, 4, 2, and 1). We loved the location. Jamaica Beach is just far enough outside of Galveston to avoid the crowds but close enough to hit up tourist attractions if you want! And the house was a very short walk to the beach. We could see the house doors from where we camped out on the beach each day. Made it very easy to go back and forth for lunch, reprieve from the sun, kid naps, etc. Property Manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with. House had all of the necessities and there really wasn’t anything it was missing (would suggest bringing your own shampoo/soap as the ones provided are pretty small.) The only thing it was missing was beach towels, toys, chairs/wagon. We had to rent everything beach related which was an additional thing to coordinate but it worked out fine. Very pleased with this house and our experience. Would highly recommend!

Close to beach

The house is in a great location, second row in and a quick 1 min walk to the beach. The kitchen was nice and the layout was good for our family. However, the house needs some TLC. The floors are kinda wonky, the window by the front door is broken, there are were lots of little things that need fixing. I did see a few bugs during our stay so I feel like the place could use a visit from a pest control company. I love the location but I don't think we will be staying in this particular house again.

Great location

Looking for somewhere close to beach this was great. It was right by a beach access. We walked very easily. Wish they had small things included in the house, beach toys, or sand shovels. We bought our own at Walmart but cannot take them home. For the most part clean. Has a few maintenance type issues (one of the toilets ran off and on the whole time we were there) Nothing that majorly impacted our stay though.

The house was close to the beach and a short drive into town to restaurants. It was very hot when we visited, the owner has added a few window AC's to help keep up with the house unit. A few updates would probably really help with the AC issue, some added weather stripping around the door to help it close correctly. We did notice some general maintenance was needed around the house, I know it's on the ocean but the electrical panel was all rusted out, it could be a hazard to young kids.

Fantastic place for getaway!

We'd come back to this house in a heartbeat. Great location just a short walk to the beach, and with a great view of the beach from the porch. Did not mind the lack of a dining room table, as the kitchen island is much larger than it appears in the photos (or at least than it looked to us) and the common room and master bedroom are more spacious than we anticipated. The porch really was fantastic, with several seating options. Kitchen is well-stocked, and the three bedrooms give several good sleeping options for families (including teens who need a little space. And we received an immediate response and information when the water went out for a short while (the city was working on the line, nothing the owners or management could have helped). A great place to stay and a great experience!

Great beach access, needs updates

Overall we had a good experience staying here. The nearness to the beach was great for our small kids and made it easy to go back and forth between the beach and the house. Loved that it was pet friendly, too. Property manager was easy to communicate with, which was nice. The pictures are a little deceiving though. They had made just enough very basic upgrades to take “modern looking” photos but the linoleum floor was coming up in multiple spots, and the bathroom feels very outdated. Shower is TINY with no water pressure. We did miss having a kitchen table. It was fine for a 2-night stay, but I would probably choose another property in the future.
