「It was good. Small space but cute. It had everything they described. It had everything to cook. Love that! Beds were squeaky and water wouldn’t drain while showering. Calm neighborhood. 」

「Me and the family stayed at the Happy Mullet the first week of August 2025 and I can't tell you how great this place was for us! From the video games and bunk beds upstairs for the grand kids, to the balcony overlooking the beach and the fully stocked kitchen and outdoor activities all set up in the garage with the bikes and grill. This place was PERFECT for our little family getaway!The check in process was super simple! The wifi worked great, and the location could NOT be beat! The AC works...

「Everything was just as expected for our stay. The house was clean, everything worked, and the owners were responsive to all questions we had. The only negative thing was the busy street. But by 10pm the traffic was almost nonexistent. I have 3 small kids, so without their spund machines naps would have been hard! But overall we loved it and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Galveston!」

「My family of 4 and a friend's family of 4 stayed here and we loved it! Our kids range from 7 months to 5 years old, it was perfect. Having the pool in the afternoons was great. Check in was so easy. We will definitely be back!」

「Great place to stay. My favorite is all of Surfside! Kitchen is well stocked. Owners do a great job of keeping the property well maintained. Location is amazing with a fully fenced in yard. So easy to walk back to the house since it is directly on the beach. I can see the kids form the kitchen and the breeze is amazing! Looking forward to our next trip back! 」

「Loved the breeze on the deck. Steps to the beach! Owner had good communication and scrambled to make the place cool with window units, despite an unexpected power outage and issues with the AC system.」
