**DOWNSTAIRS RECENTLY REMODELED**

La Vista-Spanish Hideaway (STR25-000083) is a canal home rental in Jamaica Beach.

Living room upstairs has a queen sleeper sofa. Also includes pack-n-play and highchair.

Downstair Rooms: 2 twins with attached bathroom, shower and bar area along with washer and dryer

Its location on a large part of the canal gives easy access to the bay and beautiful views from the swing, hammock or downstairs bar.

Fish in the overhead fishing lights, take a ride on the 2 person kayak, and go biking throughout the neighborhood to the park or to the beach on one of the bikes provided for your enjoyment. Neighborhood pool now open for use. Last season cost was @ $5/person over 6 yrs old or $25/person for entire season (must check with pool for current rates). Pool located next to the playground and basketball courts. Effective June 17, 2020, the neighborhood has a boat launch area that requires a permit and fee for use. The permit can only be obtained during business hours Monday-Thursday by the owners, so please advise in advance if you need us to collect a permit for you to use the boat docking area.

House features WiFi and Smart TVs along with many board games and books to keep everyone entertained.

Awesome guys trip

This property was perfect for our friends get-together. Great hangout spot downstairs at the bar with nice rooms for sleeping. It had everything we needed to enjoy the outdoors of the Texas Gulf Coast.

This place was great. Had plenty of room, amenities, and location was perfect. Bar was the perfect place to gather and just hanging out. I highly recommend this place for a vacation and the Cindy was great to work with.

Perfect spot for family trip!

The property is very clean, we had everything we could need, and it was located very close to the beach. Was only a 2 minute drive to the beach access point. We loved being able to take the kayak out in the mornings, and sit out on the deck with a cup of coffee. Overall we had an awesome stay as a family. Only thing I’d suggest is more grilling utensils and sharpening of knives but everything was still usable.

Annual Family Fishing Trip

We had all the space needed to have an enjoyable stay. The property is as shown in the listing. The host was very accommodating and answered any questions promptly. Unfortunately, the fish didn’t cooperate, but the crabs did. We’ll get them next time.

Best couple retreat.

We were hesitant to spend so much on a place we would only be at to only sleep at. We arrived on Friday evening from Dallas, and then had an all day fishing excursion planned. After we checked in, no one wanted to leave! We felt so comfortable in the house and loved the downstairs bar and fishing spot that we cancelled our dinner reservations Saturday. I have already recommended the house to several friends.

Comfortable, Welcoming and Convenient

Very welcoming and set up for people to have a good time. Great for families. We didn't use the downstairs bedroom, but used the 3rd bathroom it provided when we had 6 people trying to shower after the beach at the same time. The setup inside and out invites you to just relax and have a good time. It was a great layout for us to stay with my son, his wife and two kids, plus had plenty of room to host the rest of the family for a meal and afternoon of games when it was our turn. (This was part of an annual extended family beach week, so we were spread out between houses.) It's an easy and very short drive to the beach, and easy trip into the Strand, Seawall or other locations on the Island. My daughter-in-law was on the fence between staying canalside or beachside, but I think this home may have swayed her to canalside as the water is right there when you wake up and go to bed. It's very peaceful. Plus, we enjoyed watching boats come and go on the canal. Our grandkids had a great time experiencing crabbing for the first time in the canal.

Fantastic relaxing stay

My friends and family had a great time here. Beds and couches were comfortable. Plenty of space to hang out, the downstairs bar was great for night relaxing. Would recommend to anyone.Plenty of parking easily fit 5 vehicles.
