AMAZING!

This home is nothing short of wonderful!! The owners checked in with us multiple times to see if there was anything we needed and if we were enjoying our time. They were quick to answer any questions. The neighborhood is beautiful, great pools, awesome restaurant. We’ve had the best time!

Best house ever!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is simply beautiful and the location with the bay on one side and the beach on the other make it an ideal location. It was truly relaxing with views from every balcony. The house comes with all the amenities you need. There is so much for everyone to do from a karaoke machine, board games to the most amazing loungers on the balconies to just sit back and relax. Access to the club is another great feature with a hot tub, pool and game room. Kayla was so helpful with our questions. We will definitely rent this house again. Thank you for giving us a great weekend get-away!

Beach vacation perfection

Fantastic place for family gathering

Believe all the other reviews here when they tell you this is the perfect place to rent for your family. It's beautiful, beautifully decorated, has amazing beds, linens, games, cookware, etc. It's close to the Bay and the beach. You have access to two really fun pools..I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed it. We tend to get a little snobby about Galveston, but honestly, we couldn't have been more pleased with the house, the location, the amenities and the perfect host. Thanks so much!!

The best house

We rent houses for vacations for my family of six often. This is our favorite rental house we have stayed in not just in Galveston but compared to many houses in many states. Love this place!

Beautiful and memorable

To be honest, this is my first experience with VRBO as well as writing an online review, and I feel wholly inadequate to the task of expressing our depth of gratitude and amazement for the property and property owners. We could not have chosen a better location, home, or homeowner for our family vacation. The home was warm, bright, and welcoming on our stormy night of arrival. There was ample space, activities, and amenities to suite each family member. The home is well planned with a perfect balance of relaxing personal retreat space and beautiful gathering spaces, both interior and exterior. All amenities, finishes, and furnishings are highly appointed. The home takes full advantage of the lush and serene views with beckoning porches and sparkling windows that usher in the sunrises and sunsets and grand daylight between. After sunset, the varied low to high lighting allows for setting the perfect mood. With food allergies to accommodate, the well appointed kitchen and grill was an essential, and did not disappoint. We enjoyed all our meals on site, in the generous dining room and al fresco. All activities from horseshoes on the lawn to sea shell hunting, walks on the beach and around the neighborhood, family board games to video games, crabbing to s’mores at the swimming pool, were all wonderful lifelong and once in a lifetime memories. The homeowners took great care to make us feel welcome and at home. They were extremely generous with their time and advice for activities and ideas, and we felt truly honored to be their guests.

Tranquil Vacation

Daniel was extremely helpful and checking was effortless. The house was exactly as pictured on the site and provided everything that our family needed. The club house was a bonus. I was able to play with my grandson in the Infinity pool and listen to a live band at the same to time. The location is perfect. We will definitely return.

Wonderful weekend stay!

We had such a great weekend and absolutely loved the house! The owners were very communicative prior to checking-in (as well as throughout the weekend), and they couldn't have been nicer. The house was beautiful - perfect for our family of 5 (children ages 5, 2.5, and 7 weeks). It had everything that we needed! We loved our time at the Pointe West Beach Club, and we enjoyed checking out the bay-side pool and lazy river - definitely a big hit with our children. We can't wait to return, and we will definitely rent this home again!

Much needed RELAXING WEEKEND!

Great vacation all around

Perfect location!

Our family had a very pleasurable time. Daniel was very accommodating. He passed on several tips about the community. The clubhouse was a plus. Most of all, the home was as advertised and more. The weather did not cooperate, but we found plenty of things to do indoors. There are games galore, plugged and unplugged. We would definitely return. Perhaps, in a different season. My tip to all is to book this beautiful vacation home between the bay and the gulf, you will not regret it!

Perfect for the Family

Being from MN we thought it would be nice to stay on the beach for a couple days prior to boarding out cruise ship. It was the best decision we could have made the home was perfect and had everything we could have ever needed. It was far enough away from downtown that it was quiet and less busy but also close enough to spend time in town. Loved that there was security (saw someone in town get arrested for stealing luggage.) We were able to enjoy the beach and the pools with the kids and have a private balcony to get away at night.

Beautiful. Just as it appears in the pictures.

Layout of the house is perfect. Great access to the beach and bay side. Would definitely stay here again. Realize that it is a 35 minute drive to the Strand in Galveston but that was not an issue for us.

Great for a Family Gathering

We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary over Thanksgiving with the family (7 adults and 6 kids) and couldn’t have picked a better location. The house is beautiful and clean. The kitchen has up to date appliances and plenty of dishes and flatware. There are board games that we used rather than “devices” and plenty of TVs. The few times we needed to be in touch with the owners they were prompt getting back with us. We truly had a wonderful experience.

My husband booked the house as a surprise for my 30th birthday! I had a wonderful time in such a relaxing and beautiful setting...I was very comfortable and we had more than enough room and amenities for our whole party. I hope we can come back soon!

So great that I almost didn't want to review it and let everyone in on the secret!

My family rented this beautiful property to host out-of-state guests for a wedding hoping to show them a bit of Galveston. Unfortunately it rained the entire weekend, but thanks to this GREAT house there was plenty to do while staying completely indoors. We even wished we had more time to play with everything the house had to offer. First off, the communication with the owners is seamless and transparent. They are extremely kind and thoughtful. The day before our arrival, there was a power outage and the owners went out of their way and purchased a brand new refrigerator and installed it before our arrival! They were easy to reach throughout the weekend when we had any questions. The house has EVERYTHING you can imagine and need for any situation. We were travelling with a 3 month old baby, and a 3 & 6 yr. old so we felt the need to pack everything. We didn't need to worry because the house was furnished with pack n' plays, high chairs, and plenty of activities to keep the kids safe and entertained - even through the rain. My family cooks and most times when you rent a property the kitchen only has bare bones of equipment. This place had appliances nicer than home, plenty of dishes for a large group, and every cooking gadget you can dream of. The laundry room is immaculate! The floor level bar was great since we needed coverage from the rain but wanted to be outside. We utilized the charcoal grill but there was also a gas burner available. Outdoor shower was a nice touch. No need to pack toiletries, they are all provided. Entertainment: We were weary that with 4 days of rain, we would feel cooped up. That was not at all the case. There were crab cages, beach toys, lawn chairs, bean bag toss, Scrabble, Jenga....I mean, everything! Initially we intended on spending a lot of time at the clubhouses, but there was so much to do at the house that we never made it there. We utilized the walking path and easily went down to the beach. It's not too far, a 3 yr old and an 84 yr old were able to handle it just fine. Selfishly, I would love to keep this amazing place a secret so that it will be available for our future family outings. But the owners are so genuinely nice that I can't help but give this place the raving review that it deserves. We've rented many before but none like this. My advice when renting here: take everything you packed and leave 1/2 of it at home. This place has everything you need and more. Just bring your clothes and go.

HANDS DOWN, OUTSTANDING!!!

This is by far our BEST experience in Galveston and I am convinced it is driven by the fact that we stayed in this home. The house is impeccable ... luxurious, clean, well designed and decorated, had everything you could possibly need during your stay from beach towels, to baby cribs and gates, baby high chairs, lawn chairs and umbrellas for the beach, floaties for the pool, all kinds of games for the kids - indoor and outdoor (scrabble, chess, jenga, bean bag toss, kites), a fancy karaoke machine etc. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook whatever gourmet meal you can think of along with the appropriate serve ware and dishes etc. It also had a grill downstairs and picnic tables on the porch for outside dining while watching the sunset. The beds were super comfy and linens were soft and clean. I can't say enough to praise how impressed we were with the house and all it had to offer. Access to the Clubhouse was a HUGE PLUS because it gave us access to the infinity pool, the gym, restaurant and the private beach which secludes you from all the crowd. We originally thought the clubhouse would be too far because it was across the main street but the drive was less than 3 minutes away from the home. The lazy river was small but big enough for our babies and little kids and it was conveniently located within the same neighborhood/area. The pool service and the infinity pool looking over the gulf made us feel as though we were at some resort outside of Texas. Additionally, Daniel was always available to answer any questions we had regarding our stay. He was very nice and responsive. Overall, this was a memorable experience for our family. We have all committed to making this an annual trip and when we do, we won't stay anywhere else other than this beautiful home. THNAK YOU for letting us enjoy your home!
