Couples Secret Getaway

This property is just as it is explained it had everything we needed. It may not be on the beach however, this spot was in a great location and within walking distance to the strand, I think 2 blocks. Awesome place for couples who are looking for a getaway, just for themselves. Cozy, fun, convenient and comfortable.

Valentine trip

My husband and I came for Valentine’s weekend. Loft was in a good location for walking to the strand, and area restaurants. Loft was clean and comfortable. We did not cook but it is well stocked if u want to. Had a little problem getting key out of lock box. Overall had a great time a would use this loft again.

Perfect little apt. Right near all the historic buildings and The Strand . Apt had everything we needed and was clean . The manager replied quickly to messages and checked in to make sure everything was okay. Would stay here again

Mardi Gras Getaway

My husband and I checked in right at 4 to a clean space. Seemed smaller than pictures but accurate to online pics. Positives: Bed was comfortable, it was clean, tv easy to use, large bathroom. Negatives: light from outside coming in window(we hung a towel over window), shower had almost no cool water, and very small water pressure

Cozy place to stay

Loved this little cozy spot! The pictures look exactly like the property. We stay in Galveston often and this is by far the most convenient location! The apartment had everything we needed for a 2 stay night stay. What to expect – safe area, historic property, street parking. You will access into the building next to downstairs business’s with stairs that lead up to your loft. If you are looking for a fun, relaxed spot, I’d recommend this place!

Great location for the Strand

Overall, the loft was fit our needs for attending Dickens on the Strand very well. The pictures are an exact match to reality. We both felt that all the furniture was meant for very light people and couldn't use the eating table at all. What we loved - the size of the shower. Absolutely huge. Also, everything was clean and in it's place. Accessing the exterior door and then the loft door was easy. What we didn't love - the uneven stairs leading to the upper floor. We realize it's a historic building, but the handrail could be tightened up. The stairs felt a bit dangerous with baggage and going up/down in long skirts. Most of the wear appeared to be on the side with the rail. Some suggestions - additional blankets and pillows, removing "oven" and "desk" from the amenities as neither of these are present in the loft. Can some glow tape or something be added to emphasize the step into and out of the bathroom? We had to leave a bathroom light on all night. Regarding electric outlets, there was an empty outlet on the wall the TV is on, the outlet above the sink, and an outlet in the bathroom. Overall, for a small group, this is perfect for exploring the Strand.

Cozy place

The good - great location! Right in the heart of the strand. The reason for my 3 star review is that there is only one outlet in which you can actually plug something in the entire living room, kitchen/bed area. (not counting behind the TV where they are both being used and the outlet where the microwave pushed against it and plugged in there). The outlet is directly behind the sink. I use a cpap machine at night, you have to run a cord over the sink and you need at extension cord to reach the bed. Also, communication was so-so. Property manager was supposed to check on the lighting and never followed up with it. There is an outer door, which lets you into all the units — this door has been broken into, the jamb is missing wood and the door does not lock all the time. Garbage - no where to put your garbage!!! They tell you to take your trash with you but do not give you a location to put it.
