Giving one star for the quick responsiveness of the staff. Other than that, the house was just disgusting. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by an overwhelming scent of mildew. There were cobwebs all throughout the house. Everything was dusty. Luckily we were only staying for one night. We were a family of 25 traveling through Galveston to board a cruise. The photos and post made the house seem beautiful and welcoming but that is far from the truth! The kids were excited to go for a night swim however we could not even open the sliding door. There were huge rats running around outside. This house was a complete waste of money and we would not recommend this stay to anyone. The bathrooms were dingy, dark, smelly and gross. This house is not livable let alone appropriate for anyone to stay one night. We messaged the host as soon as we got to the house and they responded quickly with just a generic I’m sorry email. No resolution. We are so disappointed with this stay. The posting a huge catfish post. Don’t waste your money!
