Quick family vacation

Great property. Beach is within 5 min driving distance, spacious outdoor deck, great for fishing. We have a large family and do several extended family trips together. Loved that the rooms had several bunk beds allowing for the kids to all hang out and stay together in a room.

Nice weekend visit

We enjoyed our stay. Fishing off the canal was fun, especially for a first-timer who caught a black drum. It was nice to go to the pier as well and change it up a bit. It was a convenient location and we will be back!

Relaxing getaway

The property was very clean. Quit neighbors and very relaxing. We were able to fish right off the dock while making dinner on the grill. Beds were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Great getaway with lots of fishing!

This was a cute property in a great neighborhood. My 10 year old loved fishing off the back deck in the canal and caught lots of fish! The beach is right across the way and there is a restaurant and bait shop just a few streets over. Only about a 20 minute drive to downtown Galveston. We enjoyed our stay!

Very clean and bright!

Felt comfortable and at ease because everything was so clean. The kids loved hanging out on the balcony, the deck, the bedrooms, and the house.

New Year

The property was nice but could use some maintenance and updating like painting and rust. The decks are spacious. Unfortunately due to the weather we couldn't enjoy the beach during our visit which was the primary reason for our stay. The property was relaxing and a nice way to end the year.

Sweet Home

My husband and I had a nice relaxing time. Plenty of towels. Nice kitchen set up. You may need to bring an afghan for sitting on the couch if you are cold natured. 🙂 The description is accurate. Very enjoyable.

Cozy

Property was as stated. House was immaculate, and smelled so clean. They supply coffee and had trash bags already there which was nice. Kitchen is small but doable for a short trip. Outside was peaceful, loved having a water hose by the stairs and all the outdoor furniture to sit on. Bring an extra blanket because there are no extras here. Also, an extension cord because some of the rooms have outlets across from the bed, not next to it.

Horrible dog smelling couch and moldy bathroom

The house was extremely nice except for the COUCH and the master bathroom The couch was horrible. We could not even sit on it. It smelled like a dirty wet dog. We had to take the comforters off the bunk beds to ever sit on them. The owner offered to have the cleaners come look at it. It needs to be thrown out with the couch pillows. The master bathroom smelled like mold. My boys said when they was downstairs fishing that water ran out the bottom of the house when we took bathes. Location was about twenty minutes from anything. The guys enjoyed fishing off the bottom. The porch swing out back was broke n another chair upstairs on porch was broke.

Fun beach house

The house is in a great location, and the beds were really comfortable. There were some places on the floor that showed some damage, but they were clean. One thing that was disappointing was the pool. We chose this house because it had a pool. When we got the check in information, we found out the pool had an extra cost attached. That was misleading on the description. As for contact with the management company it was frustrating. We were supposed to arrive the Monday that Hurricane Beryl hit. I had tried to change the date the Saturday and Sunday before, but they wouldn't allow it, saying over and over they were keeping an eye on the gulf. The hurricane hit Galveston and we still got an email about checking in that day. I like fire a phone number to talk to a person and they finally moved our date. Luckily i was at family's that had power of I would've never gotten the email.

The canal was super fun to fish from and catch crab and other fish. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the house had updated kitchen appliances that were very nice. We enjoyed our time there and would certainly re-book this property again in the future.

Nice Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The showers did remain extremely cold throughout the duration of our stay and never got warm, and some of the fans in the bedrooms did not work resulting in it being a bit warm at night, but other than that we enjoyed. The host was very communicative.
