“Rooms are in decent shape. Nice location, aside from the fact that this hotel is located next to the Chemainus log sort facility. On Expedia there is no disclosure of this just that you’ll get good rest…when we arrived and checked in there was again no disclosure of this. Arriving in the room we noticed earplugs and thought that was weird but later realized that is because the semi trucks are going all hours of the night! “The resort is in a nice location and the view from our room was beautiful. However, the room itself is quite run down (stained carpet, chipped furniture, broken blinds). There is no A/C, so the room was very warm in the afternoon and evening. The ceiling fan, and the extra fan the hotel provides, didn’t really help to cool the room down.”
