The outside lacked attention with thick dirt on the windows, mildew on awnings, and some inappropriate things written on the thick dirt on the windows that our kids pointed out. Spiderwebs on the doorframe were not welcoming. Location was unimpressive- not unsafe, not desirable. Inside was very cute, set up like a diner, first floor apt. Housekeeping was easy to reach, beds very comfortable. Our biggest complaint was the overpowering……

“This home had it all! It was warm and welcoming. The kitchen had everything you could ask for. It was a perfect place to celebrate a milestone birthday with friends. The location was close to Lake George. There was a lot of snow and below zero temperatures so we were not able to enjoy the outside so we will be back!! “The place was just as described and pictured. The property is BEAUTIFUL! We were there over Christmas and the snow was so pretty. Our dogs loved the acreage for walks. Everything needed for cooking for a family was there. The rooms were comfortable and there was PLENTY of linens and towels (probable fifty towels at least). The best thing for us was the location and the property. We will stay here again.”

“Stayed at the Gray Horse for four nights Jan-Feb 2026. Even though the temps were COLD outside, the location is great and the walk to town was fine. The house is clean, and welcoming. Loved the gas fireplace. All rooms were nicely furnished. The few times I needed to reach out to the host, he responded quickly. Would recommend this property and would stay here again. "Let's briefly introduce the hotel: the room is OK, and the bathroom has been newly decorated. The only thing is that the sound insulation is not good, and you can hear the sound of the next room.
