“Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. ”

“Well from the welcome to the last minute we could not fault this place. Location fantastic with great views of the River Dee. All the staff weee super friendly even the manager/owner! We checked in slightly early at 13:30pm, had a couple of drinks in the bar to then later on having evening meal all fab. Plenty of choice on the menu and delicious.. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The shower super powerful. Sockets either side of the bed as well. The breakfast was really good……

“Hotel is beautiful, rooms are huge, food is good, however they have the most disorganised staff who is either untrained or just can’t be bothered. I called spa several times with no success being told everyone is busy however when I went down to spa reception they were just sitting around ignoring the calls. It happened 3 times, so can’t be a coincidence. Also one of the ladies at the reception was working with the cold, it was obvious, she was unwell and clearly contagious. Why is sick person……
