⭐☆☆☆☆ Be Careful Before Booking This Hotel!
I’m extremely disappointed with how this hotel handled my reservation. When I booked through Expedia, I specifically chose the option to pay at the hotel when I checked in. Despite that, the hotel charged my card the day before my arrival without my permission! Since I had planned to pay at check-in, the payment didn’t go through. Immediately after, I received an email demanding payment and threatening to cancel my reservation.
I had to call Expedia, and the representative had to personally call the hotel to fix the situation. Even after that, the morning of my check-in, the hotel called me again demanding payment or they would cancel my stay—while I was at work! To avoid losing my 3-night reservation, I went ahead and paid in full before even arriving.
When I finally checked in, they told me I had to pay a $60 deposit that was never mentioned anywhere during booking or when I called earlier to make payment. They also insisted it be paid in cash, which I didn’t have, so I had to use my debit card instead. After checking out, I didn’t get my deposit back until five days later, and that was only after calling the hotel twice to ask for it.
The only positive thing I can say is that the room was clean and the location was convenient.
