“The property is in a great location. One block away from the beach. It was really safe. I was a solo traveller and walked around comfortably. The rooms were super clean and well taken care of. There are a lot restaurants, shops, and places for nightlife around the area. It was so easy to meet new people and the hostel has so many activities and also tours that you can book directly from them. The check-in process was super easy and there is a WhatsApp group to keep up to date with activities or……

“The Hotel is a trendy hotel and close to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The room is clean though the washroom is relatively small. The food at the restaurant was good and we tried 2 nights there. Breakfast was betting than I expected. The staff were very helpful. We left at 4:20am to there Airport and they had prepared the breakfast and coffee for us to take away. ”

“Issues we had with this "5-star" hotel: 1. The check-in process is laboriously slow; 4 people ahead of me and it took more than an hour to get through with 2 people handling checkin. Had to fill out the same personal information that was provided when I booked. Total waste of time. 2. The water in the shower did not drain - the slope was away from the drain 3. The cap around the water control for the shower was loose. 4. Water was not hot and had to call maintenance twice. 5. Coffee/tea was not……

“The staff at the hotel were excellent. Kind and accommodating. The location was pretty much perfect as well. In fact we couldn't have asked for a better location! Turn left out of the doors and walk 10..Copocabana beach.. Turn right and walk the same.. Ipanema beach. Plenty of places to eat as well. The downfall was this. The bathroom seriously need renovations. Shower annd toilet area were very old and some mold as well. But the rest of the hotel room was fine Hallways could use an update as……

The only downside was that the breakfast options were almost the same every day, which can get repetitive if you’re staying for a longer period like I did.
