In the evening when this photo was taken, the canyon takes on a soft, almost painterly light. If you can, make a visit right after sunrise and return for the sunset.

We LOVED this place! So convenient to get to, cosy and comfortable. Washer/dryer was great. We didn’t cook but you could if you wished to. Saw a few elk just hanging about on our walk to and from dinner. Would highly recommend!
