Wake up to hens clucking, tranquil outdoor space and a sampling of French pastries and sweets made fresh by one of the Owners an accredited executive chef. Enjoy this hobby farms fresh eggs, seasonal produce, and gardens. Kick your feet up, enjoy some peace & quiet and relax by your private firepit. A perfect way to rejuvenate your soul.

Other things to note
Located next to historic Turner Farm and Orchard, and The Flower Farm. During the fall months enjoy our pumpkin patch!

Clean, Green and Relaxing
This was a terrific property for me and my wife during our stay! We especially enjoyed the hammock in the backyard. The four muffins awaiting us in the kitchen were amazingly good, too! There were several nearby places that we visited and enjoyed in Gardner, Kansas (Blazers Restaurant); Overland Park, Kansas (Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens); and Kansas City, Missouri (miniature golf at Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art; jazz musicians at The Blue Room; the National WWI Museum and Memorial; and Union Station). My wife will always remember having the lowest and best score at the miniature golf course!

Christmas Perfection
We spent Christmas at this cute cottage that was decorated so nicely. Our son and his family live in Gardner. When we arrived we walked in to hear Christmas music playing, we saw a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and we had the cutest decorated Christmas cookies. We also had yummy, huge muffins along with softened butter on the kitchen counter. The cottage was cleaner than any hotel or VRBO we have ever stayed at. The towels were SO soft and there were plenty! It was cold weather and the heater worked so well, we had to keep it in the 60's. We had television in the LR and bedroom. There were plenty of streaming choices available. The bed was very clean, soft, with plenty of pillows. Dave contacted us the day of arrival with information we needed to get in. I had questions that he promptly answered back while we were traveling. Every amenity has been thought of and provided. We will definitely return on future visits to the area. It's way better than any hotel in Gardner....by far!

A Beautiful Cottage in the Country
This cottage is adorable. The host left delicious homemade cinnamon rolls. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The place is very easy to find and just a few miles outside of Gardner. Only a short drive to Kansas City. If you need a country get away this is the place!

Very cozy and comfortable. Two things I would have liked to know before hand were, 1. You are expected to not wear shoes inside and the bare concrete floors were too cold for stocking feet. Take thick socks or house shoes. 2. There is no coffee maker. Kuerig is provided. If you are a "purest" coffee drinker you will miss your coffee. Highly recommend for relaxation.

Very attractive and comfortable Place to stay
This was our 2nd stay at the Green Cottage. Once again the owners have provided a private, quiet and comfortable place to stay. The small house is beautifully decorated in almost a French country motif. The owner also spoils us with delicious homemade baked goods. The house was also beautifully adorned for Fall with very nice decorations. The owners were also helpful in showing us how to operate the internet TV. We look forward to staying here again when we are in Gardner.
