“Great location. We enjoy the Antique store in the Downton area. A nice park located just blocks away. The unit itself is very clean and comfortable. Our 3rd stay at this location. No issues. ”

“I arrived about 9 pm. The temp was 70, with 71% humidity. I set the thermostat to 65. After 10 min, the sytem kicked off. I contacted the owner. He said to close the blinds & give the thermostat time to communicate with the A/C. Ten min had already passed. The temp had gone up & the humidity was now 76%. By 10 pm, it was clear the situation wasn't improving. I let the owner know & made other plans. The next day at 2:30, the temp was 67, BUT the humidity was 80%. I stayed 20+ min. The temp rose……

“The space was very clean and beautifully remodeled...lots of thoughtful details were included. My overall rating was just "OK" because of what is perhaps a misunderstanding on my part for the use of the word "guest house", Guest houses, to me, are separate dwelling behind a main home but perhaps to others and when filtering by "whole house", what we stayed in was unexpected. The description does describe "apartment' but the additional use of "guest house" and the filtering, as well as the……

“Very quiet, no kids. Nearly brand new Helpful staff.”

“It is an older property but was just what we needed for a nights sleep. The lobby is decorated like it’s an old mansion from the 1940’s, complete with a screened in porch outside. Very different for a hotel. Our room was comfortable with a chair and ottoman and bathroom was quite large. Breakfast was ok… we’ve had way worse! 😆”
