"First time visiting this region, and the bush setting of this lodge is well designed and laid out. We booked the self-contained cabin with a private bathroom. I think it's the most suitable cabin for two people. Even though there is a pull-out bed which can accommodate two extra people. The room is not too big and is best suited for two people.
I have previously emailed the lodge a couple of times before check-in but never once received a reply from the management
After check- in, we had some issues with the touch pad to change the lighting and window settings. We went to the front desk and requested a maintenance person to come and inspect. We waited for more than 30 minutes, and no one showed up. At that point, I went to the front desk again to follow up but was told the staff had already been to our cabin, which was not true. Customer service in small rural locations in Indonesia is generally not great, and staff tends to work at a very slow pace."
