Das Hotel steht neben dem berühmten Krantor, perfekt um Gdansk zu erkunden. Ziemlich hochwertig eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war direkt über dem Fluss, mit traumhaften Blick auf die Stadt. Frühstück war gut, die Kellner sehr nett.

The room was really clean and spacey. The windows were a lovely bonus as we had views of the water. The bathroom was gorgeous with so much space and amenities like the soaps and lotions. We were VIP so also had a welcome bottle of wine of arrival which was a lovely touch. The breakfast had a wide range of cold meats and salad, the Prosecco was amazing. It would nice to have the option of toast rather than just bread and a few more sweet continental options but would definitely recommend!

Frokostbuffé var veldig bra og alle i personalet var serviceinnstilt og bli. Vi er vant med allergimerking i norden men når du spør så fikk du hjelp med en gång. I rommet var god plass og kingsize bed for hver var veldig gode. Vannkoker og litt te& kaffe var ekstra pluss (mange plass som ikke har dem lenger). Rolig om natta uansett så sentral plassering. Lett å gå til alt i sentrum. Taksiavtale på hotellet når du bestiller fra resepsjon virket perfekt. Taksi kom som avtalt og utsjekking gikk raskt. Man bare betaler liten summ for turisskatt ved utsjekking.

Really strange given it's connected. No area to enjoy a drink so stick to the river with dedicated bars and restaurants.

The Hanza Hotel is situated in the old town area, there is only one very small mini bus that stops yards away from the hotel and runs half hourly. If you are able to walk many other trams/buses are within 10/15mins. On entering the hotel we were greeted with a smile and the hotel looked fabulous. Check in was easy with no issues. We were given room 402 which is on the top floor over looking great views of the river. The room itself was a little outdated with the decor and furniture, however do not let this put you off staying. I would have liked to have seen more USB sockets or wall outlets given this modern age. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good nice sleep after a long day out. The breakfast was fantastic with a whole variety of hot and cold items to choose from. I would say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in for breakfast. There are lots of restaurants around the area, you could be spoilt for choice, the shopping area is a 15min walk away in the main town. If I had to criticise anything there were two gripes, 1) could do with a bigger tv in the room given how far away from the bed if watching. 2) The WiFi in my room was definitely not high speed internet, lucky if I got 1mb speed. I spoke with reception who immediately resolved the problem by giving me a mobile internet device, this was about 50 times faster. I would stay here again if visiting Gdansk in the future.

Great central location lovely rooms and view over the canal. Amazing breakfast and courteous staff. However property is suffering from lack of modernisation, room was far too hot, AC didn't work and hot water came out of the cold tap. Overall average.

The Hanza Hotel sits right where Gdańsk quietly shows off: on the river, in the heart of the old town, without ever feeling touristy. It understands tone, which already puts it ahead of most places. The staff are outstanding — warm, switched on, and genuinely proud of where they work. Every interaction feels human and considered. Meals match that confidence: breakfast is fresh and well-judged, dinners thoughtful and properly done, no gimmicks, no filler. Rooms are calm, comfortable, and a pleasure to return to.
