Unfortunately, our experience with City Pop got off to a very poor start. The check-in process was a nightmare. I called the contact number twice and, after speaking to someone and then being disconnected, I never received a call back. We had been given an access code, but we still could not get into the property. If it had not been for the cleaners who happened to be there and helped us, the whole process would have been even more frustrating. Once we finally got inside, the room itself was good and had all the facilities we needed. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to public transport. The fold-away bed that converts the space into a couch is a clever idea, but in reality the couch was quite uncomfortable. Unless you really need the extra space, we found there was little point folding the bed away. Overall, the room and location were good, but the check-in experience badly affected our first impression and really needs to be improved.
