New, clean, comfortable.

the hotel is new, opened in December 2024; very clean and bright and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good, few options, yet all what is needed for having a good and healthy meal. The rooms are small but it is perfect for a couple staying with few luggage (I am from the team of trading space for a clean and comfortable place). The service was very good. Thanks Joshua!

This hotel was great but just not worth the 150 a night price. Room was small just the bed basically but that’s fine. The bathroom was annoying though very small especially the shower I kept knocking the tap with my elbow. Also the water temperature kept changing randomly and there was barely any counter space in the bathroom. No fridge as well which would have been nice. Air con was good. People were nice. Restaurant was so overpriced. Some good restaurants near by.

Pit stop in Geneva

From start to finish, my stay at HOOD was exceptional – – possibly the friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel in my life! Jonah, who checked me in, was amazing, as was the wait staff in the restaurant where I ate twice on this stay – – lunch and breakfast, both of which were delicious. If I had one comment about the room, it was that the bathroom was small, but that could be remedied by staying in a bigger room for not too much more money. I think that this hotel is great value for the dollar, and I will be staying here again the next time I’m in Geneva.

positive: location 15 min from center , very nice staff, new furniture, good shower, comfortable mattress. negative: very small size of room, noise from ventilation from the hall or from AC , construction opposite the hotel, view of construction from the window. all rooms on the first floor, breakfast was disappointing, two types of cheese, eggs only one way, strangely prepared. breakfast is not worth $25.

New hotel in upscale quiet neighborhood. Easy transportation from the airport via the main train station. Just transfer to one of the regional trains toward Annemasse. Dining options a bit limited. There are quick chain dining options in the train station. I tried the hotel restaurant which Lebanese fusion - a bit overpriced but good. Also tried Tibet Cafe in the neighborhood - about a 15 min walk, which is excellent. Only complaints - was there for business and the room desk is very tiny. Can use the conference room table as an alternative. Downside of the conference room: music is played through all the common areas (inc conference room) from 7:00-23:00 (or so). I requested turning off the music in the conference room so I could participate in an early virtual call but unfortunately this is only possible for advance conference room reservation.
