“Terrible! This property is sadly neglected and has unacceptable aesthetic, and maintenance deficiencies. Our dingy room featured a worn-out mattress, shabby furnishings, peeling wallpaper, scruffy well-worn paint. The bedding was discoloured and heavily wrinkled. The property grounds disappointed too, as these areas are also in a state of disrepair, including an overgrown weed filled garden and a terrace cluttered with an unsightly pile of outdoor furniture stacked carelessly against the……

“Rooms are in decent shape. Nice location, aside from the fact that this hotel is located next to the Chemainus log sort facility. On Expedia there is no disclosure of this just that you’ll get good rest…when we arrived and checked in there was again no disclosure of this. Arriving in the room we noticed earplugs and thought that was weird but later realized that is because the semi trucks are going all hours of the night! The ear plugs are evidence the hotel is aware of the noise. When we……

“The resort is in a nice location and the view from our room was beautiful. However, the room itself is quite run down (stained carpet, chipped furniture, broken blinds). There is no A/C, so the room was very warm in the afternoon and evening. The ceiling fan, and the extra fan the hotel provides, didn’t really help to cool the room down.”

“The bedding had poop and blood stains and the brown girl at the desk double charged me. They don’t provide breakfast other then juice and coffee and yogurt and the rooms are dated and musty. I grew up in Duncan and moved to Ontario and travel for work but the standard this place had put the bar in hell and you have to limbo under it. 10/10 do not recommend.”
