"Property owner was very responsive before my check in date. However, on the day itself, they sent me an email with a lot of instructions but without unit entry code details. I spent almost an hour panicking until I found another guest who was returning to his unit. Thankfully he spoke English and suggested a solution which worked! We tried calling the number given in the confirmation, there was an auto reply so no help there. Imagine tired and anxious, stranded in a strange land at 8pm! There...

"위치는 제주도 서귀포시 성산읍 신천리 287 신천리벽화마을안에 위치하고, 주위가 매우 조용하고 아늑한 곳입니다. 우리가 머물었던 숙서구조는 복층구조로서 모던하면서 제주의 멋이 깃든 곳이라 생각합니다. 2층의 침대는 천정에 하늘을 볼 수있는 창이 있어, 날씨만 허락한다면 푸른 하늘과 밤엔 별들을 감상할 수 있어 매우 낭만적입니다. 주인 여사장님께서 체크인 전에 직접 연락을 주시고, 찾아오는데 어려움이 없도록 배려해주시는 등, 매우 친절합니다. 나중에 제주도 특히, 성산, 표선쪽으로 오실 분들께 강추 합니다~"

"도착 무더운 첫날, 에어컨이 동작하지 않아 애를 먹었습니다. 알고보니, 벽에있는 콘트롤러를 함께 작동해야 되는 것이었는데..제대로 안내가 되지 않아 전화를 걸어 신고를 하고서야 문제가 해결되었습니다. 다음은 TV 리모콘의 건전지가 다 닳아서 작동이 되지 않아 다음 날, 조치 받았습니다. 또한 방에 설치되어있는 와이파이가 제대로 작동하지 않아, 컴퓨터를 개인 스마트폰 핫스팟으로 해결하였고, 다음날 신고를 해서 오후 늦게 설치기사가 나와 임시로 개통하였습니다. 총체적으로, 손님이 바뀔 때, 기존 시설에 대한 점검을 하고, 새로운 손님을 받아야 하는데, 그런 부분에서 제대로 관리가 되지 않습니다. 스위스 마을의 랜드마크인 시계탑의 시계가 시간이 맞지 않은 채 방치되어 있고, 각 동의 1층의 상점 영업이 전혀 이루어지지 않는 것으로 보아, 코로나의 후유증이기도 하겠으나, 단지 자체가 관리가 되지 않고 죽어가고 있는 듯 합니다. 묵지는 마시고 사진이나 몇 장 찍는 것으로 방문하시기 바랍니다."

"Bright, airy, cheerful, spacious...comfortably accommodated our family of five, with room for the youngest to do cartwheels in the living room. Some signs of wear on the cupboard doors and such just beginning, a bit of mold starting in the bathroom grout, but the sliding doors and windows seem new, sturdy, and function smoothly, and overall cleanliness very good. "Very comfy and cozy stay… the pillows were great, which is rare for many accommodations nowadays. Incredibly tranquil and peaceful, within driving distance to eateries. There’s a great beer and chicken (and seafood soup) place just a min walk away called Hayan Maekju, and the owner is really kind and generous. highly recommend "
