First off Valerie is amazing and has been on the island since the 60’s so just getting to meet her and hear her stories was worth the trip. The cottage is nothing fancy or boujie but it was clean and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The pool was great for cooling off after being in the salt water all day. 「First time in Exuma, and this place was perfect for what GF and I needed. Location was great as a grocery store was right there, and pretty central on the island to get to all the beaches. Right on the water with a small sand beach area to yourself. Two kayaks were a nice surprise that we used on several locations. The owner did have a small rental car that met are needs, but be prepared for rough roads to the house and in other areas of the island. If we come back, we will bring our own...

「The property is in a secluded area therefore it is very private. What I loved most is that it is in a central area and near to the airport and beaches. It has a kitchenette in case you prefer to cook your own meal, this I made much use of. Overall my stay was splendid. I would vacation there again.」

「We had a wonderful time at Hoopers Bay Villas. The cottages are across the street from the beach and access is easy. We stayed in the Yellow Elder cottage. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. It is a little older and not perfect, but who cares with the low price we paid to be at a beautiful beach!? The hosts, William and Priscilla are lovely people and always available to help or answer questions. Loved they cute beach decor in the cottage. The cottages are also private....
