Love the Peranakan deco and architecture. Your smart TV is best when it was raining and you are stuck back in your hotel. The complimentary breads are nice t very good. You can do local cookies, pastries and better breads. Room 3 shower tiles need to re caulking or renewed. Love the bathroom tiles selections. Room 3 is good layout however, windows are too close to the temple(next door) around 8-830p until 10. They have conversations a bit disturbing.

Undoubtedly one of best experiences, if not the highlight of my first visit to Penang and Malaysia in general. Beautiful, elegantly restored property with accommodating staff. Felt extremely safe and at home as a solo woman traveler.

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay at Jawi Peranakan Mansion! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We stayed for three nights. The room was beautifully designed and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful, service-minded, and friendly. And we loved cooling off in the pool. We’re recommending this to everyone we know traveling to Penang - if you get the chance to stay here, don’t miss out!

The property was really well located in a smart area just on the edge of the old town which allowed us to explore areas we would have not thought to look up. The hotel is very spacious and cute, but the pool is the real gem, especially after a day exploring. Great dining close by in all directions

If you're looking for a stay that feels like a genuine step back in time, Jawi Peranakan Mansion is a total gem. It's less like a hotel and more like a beautifully preserved piece of Penang's history. I stayed in one of the Mansion Rooms: The rooms are stunning, filled with character and old-world charm. While the beds were firm, they were still very comfortable. Being in a historic building, you'll hear some road noise in the mansion rooms, but it didn't bother me-it just felt like part of the city's energy. The pool is a wonderful. It's the perfect, quiet oasis to cool off after a humid day of exploring. The staff are incredibly lovely and welcoming. Plus, the location is ideal-you're right in the heart of George Town's best food and culture. Authentic, charming, and perfectly located. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Probably one of my favourite places in a long time.

プラナカン様式のステキなホテルでした！ 玄関を通り抜けると、そこは別世界！ カメラを構えたくなるかわいさでした。 部屋はとても広く、悠々快適です。 ジョージタウンの中心部までも徒歩圏内です。 私たちは新世界の屋台で夕ご飯を食べましたが、こちらもすぐに行けて便利です。 ホテル内にあるフリードリンク、お菓子、アイスどれも美味しかったです。 スタッフの方もとても親切で、とても楽しい旅ができました！

Historic mansion

A very relaxing stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location but due to humidity I used ‘grab’ to get around. Beautiful old historic mansion. Highly recommend.

The room was in a heritage house and was beautifully decorated. It was lovely and cool and I didnt have to use the aircon Jalan Penang is nearby with plenty of shopping and restaurants The free CAT bus is close as well I would recommend this hotel as a well situated and beautiful place to stay

Beautiful mansion

We loved our stay in this beautiful old mansion building. Our room was huge and the antique furniture added to the beautiful decor. The room was very comfortable and clean, but the air conditioning was not very strong and we needed to sleep with a loud fan overnight. The lap pool was a welcome addition and the hotel was an easy walk to lots of great restaurants and to the colonial centre.

A beautiful property close to the shuttle bus and launderette. The room was clean and has air conditioning. We were on the first floor and it was great coming back to the hotel as it is so beautiful. The staff were welcoming and professional. Would stay here again.
