Mere footsteps away from the beach, the Hideaways was the perfect location for our family trip. During our stay (and adventuring to various different beaches) we found that the best snorkeling was right in front of our place. We saw nurse sharks, sting rays, turtles, starfish and conch. Our villa had EVERYTHING we could possibly need. Pool toys, floaters, snorkeling masks and fins. Ample bug repellents, sunscreens, aloe, etc. The kitchen was fully supplied-though we ate out most evenings, it was nice having the amenities to fix our boys lunch. The balcony was just beautiful. On the grounds were a really yummy restaurant Splash. Breakfast lunch and dinner served. The clubhouse was great to spend a lazy afternoon playing pool, reading, ping pong. The pool was clean with paddle boards and kayaks free to use. We slept well all of our nights in the villa. Truly felt like a home away from home. Elizabeth, our host, was so accommodating and welcoming and was thoughtful to check in with us. All in all, so many memories were made on this trip. It’s so important to have a place to stay where you feel comfortable and safe and the hideaways villa was just that.
